Between Nipigon and Dryden, we change watershed...
"Quick quick, cross the road!"
Is it an aircraft or an insect carrying this man?
Our second moose!
We are surprised at the number of cyclist on the road.
After 445 kilometer, we are in Dryden. I have time to go and get
the part to fix our suspension on the motorhome.
On the left, the broken part with the "temporary" repair and on the
right, the new, to be installed part at a cost of $6.00.
The master piece!
The temporary repair lasted more then 2200 kilometers.

After traveling more then 2360
kilometers, we finally leave Ontario behind us .
Before we get to Manitoba, the landscape starts to level off. We
leave the Canadian Shield behind us.
Onto the prairies with all the tractors...
Once in Brandon, we stop for diesel and a chance to clean the
windshield.
Our fridge is not working right. It works on electricity, but on
propane it does not cool.
After some reading and research on the internet, I discover that I need
to
check the propane pressure close to the burner.
Shoot, my pressure at the burner is only 10 inch WC. It should be
11 inch WC.
We are doing all this, in stealth mode, in the parking lot of Walmart
in Brandon.
To get to the regulator, I have to go in from the basement...
The pressure is adjusted, we have to wait and see if the fridge
will be cold again tomorrow.

Our home in Brandon!
Our fridge is not cooling off at all when running on propane!
We do not see a truck on rails to often!
Saskatchewan, here we come!
We are driving down the road at 100 km/h and this house passes us...
We stop in Regina to refuel the motorhome. This is the last time
in Canada for this year.
While I refuel, this transport truck pulls in with a load of pigs,
boys does it stink!
This spring has been very wet in the prairies.
Our final destination, Moose Jaw. Jérémy, Danielle and Gabriel
will be moving here in August.
Mac the Moose and the Tutor aircraft at the information center.
Our RV park is located across the road from the info center.
The white stuff in the photo is not snow, but cotton that carry the
seed
of the
western balsam poplar tree.
Once we are all setup, we take the car for a good wash.
It sure needs
it after being towed behind the motorhome for over 3200 kilometers.
Unbelievable the fluffy stuff on the ground. Is it "summer snow"?
A little crowded, but still nice.
One of the poplar tree with all the cotton carrying the seeds.
With
the wind, it looks like a blizzard!
We will be here until Monday.
Saturday June 22, 2013
It is always odd to see this white stuff on the ground.
We even drove to 15 Wing Moose Jaw aerodrome to check out the place for
Jeremy
and Danielle.
Sunday June 23, 2013
Not doing much today. We just make some preparation for our move
to the storage place tomorrow.
Monday June 24, 2013
Before we leave for Regina, we have to drop off the motorhome at the
storage place. It is a secure place at night.
We will be back on July 19th to pick it up.
We are spending the night at a motel in Regina because our plane is
leaving at 6 am tomorrow.
Our room.
Darn! I forgot a small bag with left over pieces of steak on the
front seat of the motorhome.
We have to go back to Moose Jaw and get the bag or it will turn pretty
bad after over 24 days in there.
This means a return trip to Moose Jaw, 130 km we did not need to do!
The bag in question! Michele is really teasing me now!
After traveling more then 185 km, when we only needed to do 65, we are
back in our motel.
We spend a few hours at the pool and, just me on the slide!
We are boarding our plane tomorrow at 5:30 am for Comox.
We are very anxious to see Jérémy, Danielle and Gabriel again.
Tuesday June 25, 2013
We are up by 3:30 and on the shuttle to the airport by 4:30.
This is the first time we use a shuttle and we do not think we are in
the Daytona 500.
Regina airport at check-in.
On our way to the airplane.
We hope we will be off the ground before the storm gets here.
Hummm!
Flying over Moose Jaw.
Some of the flooding in Calgary.
We have to stop in Calgary for 2 hours before our next connecting
flight to Comox.
Our plane for the last leg of our trip.
Comox (YQQ).
Youpie!
Finally reunited with Jérémy, Danielle and Gabriel!
During the afternoon, we are out for a walk in Seal Bay. Gabriel
is having a hard time staying awake.
Gabriel checking out the cartoons before diner.
We are so happy to be with Jérémy, Danielle and Gabriel.
Just to let you know, we are babysitting our grandson, Gabriel, imagine
what photos you will see!
Rainy day, time for a short drive with a "Cool dude".
Danielle is leaving today. I just realize I do not have photos of
Danielle...
Seems like Gabriel knows Danielle is leaving.
Gabriel and grand-papa, the lifeguard...
A lazy day at home, but Gabriel keeps us occupied.
A very warm day. We are going to the Skypark in Courtenay for a
walk.
We are invited at Don's place for diner, he is Collen's friend.
grandmother Colleen with Gabriel.
Jérémy and Julie, Julie is the great-grandmother of Gabriel.
Darn, I did not get a photo of Don.
Hot and humid, we are off to Nymph Falls for a walk.
Gabriel really loves the water even if it is on the cold side.
Until next time.
Life is good...
