Manon, Michele and Patrice are making homemade spaghetti sauce.

It is a very nice day with just a little wind. Time to have a fire.

Patrice works very hard so we can have a nice fire.

As for us, we just chill.

This is the road where Patrice goes for a walk with Flick. It has a gate at both ends.

My next project is to change/reposition the wires for the brake/signal light when we pull the car behind the MH.

Patrice is really good at letting people with certain skills do the work. Me too. I do not solder very good and Patrice takes over and finishes the job.

Flick is just happy to be near us.

After working so hard, time for the spa and a beer. Michele and Manon joined me shortly after.

I am very happy that the wiring job is done on the car. Thank you, Patrice.

We start the day with a photo of Natasha.

We are going to Lévis today. It is near Québec City.

We are taking Patrice's car this time.

We are here because Patrice has an appointment for a rust treatment for the car.
Look at that crane! The people are walking like they were on the sidewalk!

To get back home, we drove the back roads.
It is a beautiful country here.

This is a city bus where you can get vaccinated against the COVID. It is nice to see more people getting vaccinated.

After we got back home, I washed the MH. It had 3,200 km of dirt and road grime on it.

Flick saw a mouse. He is trying to get to it.

Another good day.

Sunday, September 19, 2021

It is a beautiful day, the sun is out, we have very little wind.
Time for one more job. This time, it is the gabble that the wind moved.

Patrice has vertigo when he climbs too high. He asked me if I could go to the roof and fix the gabble. Sure!
Up I go!

I inspect the damage/problem.

If you look closely at the photo, you can see a tinny white dot above my head. It is the screw Patrice threw at me.

A few screws and some sealant. Everything is fine now.

Now it is time to come down. The angle of the roof is not steep. I still travel down to the ladder on my bum for safety.

This is the dangerous part, going from the roof to the ladder.

Coming down.

After a short break, we change one of the outside faucets. Five minutes later, it is done.

A good week.

This is another relaxing day at home.
We love those cherry tomatoes. We do not have the patience to let them riped properly. We eat them too early.

We moved one of the sofas from Patrice's 5th Wheel to the living room for the winter.

We had a beautiful moonrise, but the cameras on our phones are not very good for night time photos.

Tuesday, September 21, 2021

We have a big day in front of us. We are up earlier than usual. We are on our way to Quebec City because Manon has a medical appointment this morning.

While Manon is at her appointment, Patrice took us to the old part of Quebec City.

I think it is the "Porte St-Jean".

Some of the streets, we drove around in the old city.

We did not really have much time to visit the area around Château Frontenac. We will come back next year. A statue of Samuel-De Champlain.

A view of the Saint-Laurence River. The château is on our left.

The Château Frontenac.

So much history in this city.

The Chateau from the lower part of the city.

When Manon was done with her appointment. We drove to the other side of the river to the city of Lévis and the Costco. This photo is for the people who do not believe that beer is way cheaper in Quebec than in Ontario. On this date, a case of 30 cans in Ontario cost $51.95 while a case of 60 in Quebec cost $66.58.

We had a good day
Natasha does not like green peas.

Wednesday, September 22, 2021

It is time to leave Manon and Patrice.

I am using the "upper" driveway. This way, I do not damage his "lower" driveway with the rear end of the MH.

Lots of room!

We stopped in town to dump our used water.

Just before we drove away, I noticed I forgot to take off our rain gutter extension.

The road to get to the highway.

Since we drive in the city of Saint-George-de-Beauce to get t the Autoroute 73, why not fill up with gas!

Five hours later, we arrive at our destination, Lac Lafontaine campground in Saint-Jérôme.

Once we are all set up, Estelle, Christianne, Rolland and Suzie came over for supper and the evening. We had a lot of catching up to do.

This is the route we took. The roads were mostly good.

Thursday, September 23, 2021

We will be here until October 6th.
Our friends Robert and Lynn are coming to camp overnight with us. Here they come.

This is our site. We can see Lynn and Robert's truck.

Me and my folding bike.

Some photos of Natasha enjoying fall.

Kristin takes very good photos.

Friday, September 24, 2021

Lynn and Robert are leaving this morning.

They are replaced by my two sisters, Estelle and Christianne.

Michele making a funny face.

We had a good day.

Saturday, September 25, 2021

Another easy day for us.
We went to Rolland and Suzie's place to drop off some stuff. Just a photo of me for no reason.

We took this opportunity to walk around the flea market across the road.

I am using our electric grill for the first time. I am cooking a steak.

It turned out OK, but the steak was not great.

Some more photos from Kristin. They went fishing with Natasha.

Christianne invited us for lunch.
Photos of her new apartment.

Thank you, Christianne for the good meal and great company.

Monday, September 27, 2021

We are invited for an overnight at Estelle and Roberts cottage. Rolland and Suzie will also be there.
We have Christianne with us.
The cottage is near the little town of St-Donat in the Laurentide.
We are on our way.

The cottage is on Lake Léon, it is a duplex. The red line is about in the center of the two. To the right, it is my sister's cottage, on the left, the neighbour.

As you can see, they have many water "toys".

The lake. The grandkids love swimming in the lake.

A bad montage of photos of the lake.

My pretty Michele.

The light breeze was a little cool, but we still had lunch outside.

Kids having fun!

Solving the world's problems.

Rolland is hiding to fill his wine glass. Not really!

With the meal over, we still spent a long time at the table.

Robert took us in his small boat on a tour of the small lake Léon. The two brothers are having fun.

Robert gave us a narrated tour.

The end of the lake. There are only about 20 cottages on the lake. It is so quiet.

The photo is not like the real thing. The colours on the mountain were very bright.

We even had a late afternoon fire.

We had a very good meal for supper. Suzie and Rolland prepared it earlier, at home.

We all had a very good day today.
We went to bed with a warm heart and a smile on our faces.

Tuesday, September 28, 2021

Good morning everyone.

The basement.

We all had a very good morning.

After lunch, it is time to head back home. The difference between the photos is Estelle is replaced by Michele

The trip back home was good. I think we all have so many memories in our heads right now...

Thank you, Estelle for this fantastic idea to invite us to your cottage.
We loved it!

Wednesday and Thursday, September 29 and 30, 2021

No photos for two days! What happens?
Well, nothing special, my two sisters came over one afternoon. The rest of the time, we rested.

Until next time.

Life is good...
