Every Monday, I kind of make a list of things to do this week. And then it changes.
Jan asked me if I wanted to help build a deck with him and his employee, Rachel. Of course!
The deck will be 14' X 38'. This is where it is going to be located.
Meanwhile, Michele checks out the geese with the babies on the front lawn.
We are hard at work. This is Rachel's first deck.
This deck is my third one. Rachel is paying attention and learning fast.
After being a woodworker all day, I turn into a plumber just before
supper. I am flushing the freshwater system on the MH. As for the pink
stuff on the ground, it is safe for the environment.
Benoit sent us the photo of him and a friend doing some geocaching in Montreal.
I will continue to work on the deck tomorrow.
I almost forgot Jeremy and Kristin skyped with us after supper. Jeremy has popped the big question to Kristin. She said yes...
No date for the wedding yet. We are very happy for both.

The little babies are still doing good.
Let's go back to the deck. We made a lot of progress today.

Michele continues with her crochet. She is now making table cloths.
We finished the deck just before lunch. We are pretty happy with our work.

Today, I continue flushing our freshwater system. I used the
pink stuff for winterizing. It leaves an after taste once
removed. To fix that, I add a little bleach in the freshwater
tank and run water in all the lines. It sanitizes. Let it sit for many
hours. Then flush again with just fresh water. Then flush again
with some
baking soda in the water to remove any after taste. I am all done. The
water tastes good now. We also moved some more stuff to the MH.

We made a few more trips with boxes between the house and the MH.
I found those emergency flashing lights on Amazon.ca and bought them.
They have 9 different ways to flash and a flashlight on all of them.
They are visible from far away. They are going in the trunk of the car.

We have a busy day today.
We are putting all the docks in the water.
This is the equipment we will be using.
In a regular year, the seasonal campers are here to help with the job, not this year due to COVID.
The crew consists of people in the same bubble. This will be a reduced crew.
This is part of the crew.
The tractor drops the docks in the water. The excavator is used to move
the gangway in place and we install the pins holding it to the base and
the dock.
Even with a smaller crew, things move along pretty good.
The geese do not like us very much. We are disturbing them.
Andrew took out an old tarp from the water and found a few fish in it, like this monster.
We continue with the docks on the pier.
We also disturbed a turtle.
The gangway and the docks are all in the water, ready for the
watercraft. We did not put the end platform in the water because the
wind was blowing hard and making it difficult to control.
We are happy with the work done today. Jan, Jannie and Patricia very
happy that all the docks are in the water. They appreciate the help.
We are having Jannie and Jan over for supper tonight. We will be having a Raclette. I forgot to take some photos.

Jeremy sent us a photo of Natasha. She did not want to smile... They wish a Happy Mother's Day to Michele.
Benoit also sent a message to Michele for Mother's Day.
We slowly continued our move to the MH. We move stuff slowly because we will not be moving out until Wednesday.

Just like all the campgrounds, some seasonal campers sometimes have
to stop being seasonal. COVID, work, health or other reasons prevents
them from continuing. So this gentleman could no longer be a seasonal
camper and wanted to sell his trailer. Patricia and Jan did not want to because
of its condition. So it has to move out of the campground.
I am just helping to put the plywood in front of the tires as the trailer is being pulled out of its site.
This trailer has been in this location for at least 15 years. Let's just say it was well established in the ground.
Jan's tractor has no problems pulling it out.
Once the trailer is on the road, things move fast.
They even let the employee drive the tractor for a while.
First flat tire...
And the second flat tire, on the same side. In a few days, a crew will be coming to pick it up.
It took just about an hour to pull it out of its site. I am done for the day.
We continue our move, slowly.

Not so much going on today for us, other than some more moving.
Some photos of Natasha.
Jeremy was moving his backyard to his new place, next door. Natasha was helping.
Kristin told us that Natasha picked up rocks and place them in the
wagon. She then got on the wagon. When Kristin started to pull her,
she dropped rocks every so often. Like Hansel and Gretel.

Kristin's wedding ring fits her finger now. Beautiful.
It is moving day!
This is the last time the car is in the garage. We really loved having a garage this past winter.
Once our sofa and mattress are moved in the MH, we are ready to change location.
But first, we make a pit stop at the local propane filling station for a top-up.
This is where we will be living for the next few weeks. A BIG thank you
to Jannie and Jan for letting us stay in their backyard once again. You
are very generous. So, until when will we be here? My last appointment
is on June 4. It is a hearing test. Depending on the results, I may
have other appointments or not! Also, everything can change with the
COVID-19.
Beautiful backyard.
With the MH all level, we start to fine-tune the inside. Right now,
I am removing the TV to connect the wiring for our headphones and the
hearing aid adapter for Michele.
The rest of the afternoon was spent moving stuff around.
As a welcome, we had a nice sunset.
We are happy to be back in our "home". Once again, Thank you, Jannie and Jan.

Not much happened today other than continue re-arranging the inside.
Natasha.

As a little thank you, we have the Maat family over for lunch. Burgers are on the menu.
Here I am chatting with Andrew, Patricia's boyfriend.
The crew is eating. Rachel is also here. She is the new employee of North Shore RV Park.
Michele is so happy, lots of tennis on TV.
It was a good Friday. The temperatures are warming up.

I am working today.
Jannie has a friend who designs landscapes for homes. She did one for Jannie. We are preparing the area for the planting.
After lunch, I am cutting the grass. It is a big backyard.
Going around in a circle to cut grass is boring. So I decided to
improvise on the last area that needed to be cut. I go in a zigzag
pattern...
Michele loves tennis.
Natasha got a water table to play with. You put water on the top shelf, it drips down on the lower shelf. She loves it.
