Tuesday and Wednesday, June 15 and 16, 2021

This is not like cutting grass at Jan's place...

The chef at work.

Natasha is a little tired.

Thursday, June 17, 2021

Since the military base has changed its mind about the MH in the driveway, we have to park it in the storage compound. It was OK for 6 years, but one person does not like MH in the chain of command, so here we are... Mind you, we took our time to unload...

I drove to the campground in town to dump our black and gray water tanks before we store the MH.

This is our spot for the MH in the storage area. We are really close to the landing strip.

Michele went for a nice walk with Natasha after supper. It calms her down and gets her a little more tired before bedtime.

Natasha also plays a little on the front yard deck.

Friday to Sunday, June 18 to the 20, 2021

We took a morning walk. Natasha walked all the way.

Of course, we had to stop at the playground.

Back home, we played with bubbles.

Natasha loves arts and crafts.

And listening to stories.

One little baby being rolled around.

Natasha really loves books.

Natasha and grand-maman are buddies.

Whenever someone has breakfast, Natasha is coming up for a few bites.

I am helping Jeremy building supports for his canoe.

Our beautiful girls.

Monday to Thursday, June 21 to 24, 2021

We are slowly getting into a routine.
I am cutting the grass because, in the next few days, the temperature will get really hot.

Photos of Natasha at daycare.

On one of the mornings, I weeded the flower bed.

Natasha loves to eat by herself.

A moment with dad before going to bed.

Here she is with the teddy bear that Jannie and Jan gave her.

While Natasha is in the  bath, Jeremy takes a short nap.

Got to have a snack before bedtime.

Yep, Jeremy dressed her this morning. Kristin was quick to get her changed before daycare.

This is one tired little girl.

A little TV time before the snack and bedtime.

Friday, June 25, 2021

I went out fishing with Jeremy and a few of his friends. Shortly after lunchtime, I left them fishing and went back home. Jeremy stayed a few more hours. The sun was hot today. The total for our efforts, one walleye for me, a few pikes and two walleyes for Jeremy.

Meanwhile, Michele is with Kristin, Kristin's sister, Erin, Deb, a friend of Kristin and Audrey, Kristin's mom.
Kristin is shopping for her wedding dress.

Jeremy is cleaning the walleyes fillets. We will eat them on Sunday.

Two beautiful ladies.

Saturday, June 26, 2021

I am out for a walk with Natasha this morning. Natasha loves the swings and slides.

After lunch, we went to Erin and Jay's place for a luncheon to honour Hannah's high school graduation. She had her "grad walk" in the morning. Next, the grad photo before supper.

Jay with Natasha's hat.

This is the first time Jay can actually have Natasha on his knee. Jay is a gentile man.

Hannah with her grad dress and cowboy boots. The real "country girl". She looks lovely.

Hannah (16 years old) with her brother, Zac (6 years old). They have a special connection.

Natasha really likes hot dogs.

Natasha is very tired when we got back home. She is also a good comedian.

Belly button!

Jeremy and Kristin have a party after supper. We love looking after Natasha.

You have to watch some TV before bedtime. Now, really look at this photo. Who do you think controls the TV?
The doll?

Sunday, June 27, 2021

A quiet Sunday for all of us.
Another nice walk in the morning. We make a stop at the playground.

Since it is going to be a hot day. I decided to cut the grass this morning. Natasha is supervising from inside.

Why not play in the water when it is hot.

Natasha is very wet. Jeremy brought some dry short pants but put them on her head.

Natasha is not herself for the last few days. We think more teeth if that is possible, are coming out.
Natasha's friend, John, is here for a playdate in the playground. It turns out John is in an even more grumpy mood than Natasha. The playdate is over quickly.

Natasha and Kristin went to the splash park at the end of the afternoon. Natasha had lots of fun in the COLD water.

Two cool dudes...

Right after supper, we had lots of action in our front yard.
Nicole's cat was up the tree. She wanted him down. I am looking from inside the house.
Why not use the recycling can as a ladder!

You need help from a friend.

The photo is taken from inside the house. This is why you can see reflections.
She catches the cat.

A saved cat.

But the recycling can is hurting. Nicole beat it back into shape with her fists.

What an adventure for a Sunday evening...

Now, some photos from our friends in Trenton.
It seems that the Friday lunch get together is now a tradition. Super.

Jan and Jannie received their sign for the Cooking Shack.

We have some friends we hoped to see before we left Trenton. The timing did not work. Here they are parked at the Walmart in Belleville. That is too bad we miss them.

At the RV Park, Patricia taught it was us coming back when this MH showed up. No, it is not us.

Monday, June 28, 2021

Just an ordinary Monday.
Natasha being tickled.

She laughs a lot.

A hot "dome" is coming our way today.
I will be even hotter in the next few days.

Tomorrow Jeremy and I are going to Medicine Hat to pick up Gabriel.

Tuesday, June 29, 2021

So, after four hours of driving, we arrived in Medicine Hat to pick up Gabriel. Gabriel was driven to Medicine Hat by his mom, Danielle, Danielle's girlfriend, Shannon and Gabriel's "brother", Jaden. Danielle had a gift for me, Michele and Benoit. A T-shirt with the logo of Gabriel's team in the front. They live in Blackfalds, Alberta. In the back, you have Gabriel's last name and number. Thank you, Danielle.

Once Gabriel is with us, we head back to Moose Jaw, four hours away.

Meanwhile, Michele crochets more table cloths.

More photos of us in the house.

We all are so happy to have Gabriel with us for the next few months.

Wednesday, June 30, 2021

It is a hot day with +32° C. and a temperature that feels like +35°C.
This is Gabriel on his bike. The first few days are always a little hard on him. He is looking for his old friends.
In a few days, he will be all aright and will have lots of fun.

Gabriel is now playing with his good friends Joshua.
As for me, I washed the car. I am waxing it now. I am looking for shade...

Michele and Gabriel went to the splash park in the afternoon. They were by themselves.

Gabriel was cold from the cold water and the wind. He warmed up pretty fast with this heat.

When Natasha got back from daycare, we had lots of fun together.

The accomplices.

Jeremy and Gabriel went fishing in Buffalo Pound after supper. They came back a little earlier because the wind was too strong and the fishing was bad.

Michele and I want to congratulate our friends on becoming Canadian Citizens. Today, they had the ceremony via Zoom. We are glad to have you in Canada, as Canadians.

Until next time.

Life is good...
