1 to 15 March 2022   16 to 31 March 2022

Monday to Wednesday, February 28 to March 6, 2022.

Not much has happened at the beginning of the week.

The most recent photos from Saskatchewan.
If you look closely at the photo, Natasha wears her converses, so does the doll.

Grand-maman is really enjoying her time with the family.

And for me, in Ontario, sometimes snow, sometimes rain.

Thursday, March 3, 2022.

Jeremy is working evening this week. Michele, Jeremy and Natasha went out for breakfast.

Natasha loves colouring.

And play with stickers.

Natasha is a big girl now. She can choose her own breakfast.

They are in a deep conversation.

Hmmm!

Michele is helping Kristin make flowers for the wedding.

Today is the day I change the battery on the MH.
The battery is located behind the left headlight. The opening for access is not that big.

The old battery had to come out via the bottom. I placed the old battery in the trunk of the car. I head out to Canadian Tire to get a new one.

The new battery is in. Tested everything, all is good. The slides are working now.

The slides are all closed now.

I am happy it was just the battery that was causing the problem.

Friday to Sunday, March 4 to the 6, 2022.

The weather is still doing 360°. It is snowing so hard we cannot see anything. Twenty minutes later, the sun is shining. One day it is -15° C, the next day it is +5°.

Michele is enjoying her last two days with Natasha.

Kristin and Jeremy bought this kind of high chair/platform so Natasha can be at the counter height and help/watch.

As I am writing this blog, Michele is already home. That is why I have many new photos from Saskatchewan.
Here they are in no particular order.

We have another beautiful day here in Ontario. It is +12° outside. I open both patio doors between the house and the sunroom to let the warm air come into the house. The temperature in the house climbed to +23° C in the afternoon.

The snow is melting fast. The water does not have time to drain. This is not unusual.

Michele will arrive tomorrow morning. I cannot wait to see her.
As a good husband, I do house cleaning before his wife gets home.

Monday, March 7, 2022

Michele is coming home today.

She leaves Regina at 5 o'clock this morning. They get a little behind schedule because they had to de-ice the wings on the plane.

The photos are a little out of focus, but Michele had a beautiful sunrise.

Michele had to wear her mask for about one hour before her flight at the airport and 4 more hours on the plane. She is good.

Coming to Toronto. It is raining now in Toronto, but it will change from rain to freezing rain to snow in the afternoon. It is not a problem as Michele's plane arrives in Toronto at 9 am.

She is on her way to Terminal #3.

I had to wait for Michele outside the terminal. All because of COVID. I understand.

Michele loved her trip to Kristin, Jeremy, Natasha and Gabriel's place in Moose Jaw. We heard there is a possibility Michele would have to go again next winter when Kristin and Jeremy take a trip south!

Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

From now until Sunday, every day, you will have photos from Michele's phone of her trip out west.
Those are from February 20, when they left Moose Jaw to pick up Gabriel. Michele and Jeremy left early in the morning.

Here is the gang.

Gabriel had already spent 4 hours in a car with his mom. Now, he has 4 more hours in the car with his dad to get back to Moose Jaw. It would be easier to fly from Calgary to Regina. Also less tiring for both families.

Meanwhile, in Moose Jaw...

Natasha is helping her mom.

Natasha's job is to... play.

The whole family is finally together for a week.

Michele and I have no photos of our day.

Wednesday, March 9, 2022.

Another day with no photos from Michele and me.
But we do have photos from Michele's trip. I no particular order.

Natasha wants to be near her brother all the time. She loves her brother. He loves her very much.

Thursday, March 10, 2021.

One more time, in no particular order.

Natasha is a very busy girl at daycare.

It is a week where nothing much happens to Michele and me.

Friday, March 11, 2022.

You know the routine!

Again, not much going on with us. On the weather side, A snowstorm is coming our way.

And it starts in the middle of the afternoon.

Michele is working on a new pair of slippers for me.

Just before 5 pm, I get the computer ready because we have a 5 to 7 virtual happy hours with our friends Lynn and Robert.

Every time we see each other, we have lots to talk about and so much fun. The happy hours go on until past 10 pm.

We cannot wait to see them again.

Saturday, March 12, 2022.

Almost done with the photos from Michele's trip out west...

One species of fish Jeremy catches is called a lingcod/burbot.
If you know how to prepare them, they are tasty.

Patricia came over to plow our road this morning. We had 12 cm of snow after all.

These are new photos from Kristin.
A Superstar with upside-down sunglasses.

Natasha was at her friend's birthday party with he mom.

Sunday, March 13, 2022.

This is the last day with photos from Michele's trip out west.

Michele finished my pair of slippers today.

They are just a little higher and super comfortable. Thank you, Michele.

We had more snow throughout the day. Tomorrow, it is supposed to warm up some.

Our friends Jannie and Jan are leaving Arizona today. They are making their way back here slowly. They should arrive towards the end of the month.

Monday and Tuesday, March 14 and 15, 2022.

Michele has her appointment at Bioped for a new pair of shoes. In less than half an hour, we are out of there with a new pair of shoes.

Our next stop is at The Brick. Last November, we received our result for our couch. They gave us a store credit. We purchased 2 individual recliners to replace our old couch. The forecasted time for receiving our two recliners was the end of February. In January, we received an email stating the new delivery time frame was sometime in June. Today, we are at The Brick to get a better grasp on the timeline for our new recliners to arrive. Also, to see if we can change the location of the delivery. Finally, we have no other option but to wait. They offered to exchange for different recliners. We will have to think about it over the next few days.

Back at home, I took apart our small crockpot. The last time we used it, it had a slight odour of melted wire.

Sure enough, one wire was burnt a little. I changed the wire, repositioned them in the crockpot, used the crockpot for a few hours today. All is well.

Tuesday was just a day at home.

Until next time.

Life is good...
