1 to 15 June 2022   16 to 30 June 2022

Wednesday, June first, 2022.

Today is a bigger project.
We are fixing a soft spot on the wall caused by water infiltration.
The two arrows point to what I have to remove to look at and fix the damage.

We cover as much as possible.

I pock through the wall and start to remove the wall panelling.
It is not pretty, but it is not as bad as we thought.

Yep, it is rotten.

It turns out it is just the 2 by 2 and a little part of the panelling that is rotten by the water infiltration. It is not as bad as we thought.

I remove and clean the area as best as I can. We will let it dry for a few days.

Natasha is getting ready for sleep time.

After Natasha has gone to bed. The two girls start working on decorations for the wedding.
They are making garlands with hearts made from books.

They are getting better and faster.

A good day.

Thursday, June 2, 2022.

Michele and I went Yard Saling in Moose Jaw this afternoon.
Michele found this bike for Natasha. It was only $20. It is like new.

The ladies of my heart.

Friday, June 3, 2022.

Natasha is not having a good morning. She had a bad night. She is not in a good mood.

Kristin has a 5 to 7 today with friends. Jeremy still works nights. We look after Natasha. It is a pleasure.
She is getting more and more bold.

She loves the swings.

Grand-papa and grand-maman are spoiling Natasha a little.

This is just before Natasha goes to bed.

Saturday, June 4, 2022.

Natasha needs cuddles with daddy this morning.

We all went to the Farmer's Market in Wakamow, Moose Jaw.
Natasha loves flavoured ice, like blue!

Jeremy is making a face!

The rest of the afternoon is spent on the front porch.

After Natasha's nap, we went to the park next to the house.

Sometimes, she needs a little help.

More spoiling!

Natasha is eating a lot right now.

She will probably have a growth spur soon.

Sunday, June 5, 2022.

Natasha and I are at the Crescent Park in Moose Jaw and feed the ducks.

We walked around the park.

She is doing a little dance.

We are watching the people setting up the stage.

The ducks are not very hungry. Lots of food is falling from the trees right now.

After feeding the ducks, we spend a little time at the playground.

Natasha is not very familiar with the MH. She is spending some time in the MH playing. She plays on our mattress located in the living room because of the repairs being done in the bedroom.

Jeremy and Kristin decided to try Natasha on her new bike.
She is not very good. She is only two and a half after all.

She loves the park.

Monday, June 6, 2022.

We had forgotten how important a park was for Gabriel when he was little.
It is Natasha's turn now to find the park important.

Up to the slide.

She does not come down fast, but she loves it.

The swing is always a favourite.

I gave myself a good swing on this contraction. It turns faster than I taught. Natasha thinks it goes too fast. I come out dizzy.

Once back from the park, a good Popsicle.

The house batteries are not charging when the engine is running.
I troubleshoot the problem and isolate it to this box. This box only cost $ 730.00 US.
Jeremy and I will try to troubleshoot the box itself.

Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

I am getting ready to install the piece of 2 by 2 in the cavity of the wall we are repairing.

Installed.

I add some sealant to keep it in place and stop the vibrations when driving. It is just a filler after all.

It will need to dry before I can continue with the wall panel and the moulding.

Kristin has a video interview for a possible job when she arrives in Comox. It went well.
She joins us at the park after.

My three favourite ladies watching cartoons on TV.

Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

Natasha is in a cuddling mood this morning.

It is time for me and Jeremy to go fishing for carp at Buffalo Pound Lake.
Remember, we are not near mountains but in a valley.

Jeremy is getting water to prepare his bait mixture for carp.

What you need is some corn niblets, bread crumbs and Jell-O powder, citrus or strawberry flavoured.

Add a little water to make a paste.

The bait.

You make a "ball" around the weight and place the hook on the ball.

You, very carefully, cast the line with the ball in the river and wait.
The ball will dissolve, attracting the carps. They will come and eat the corn.

We came home before lunch without a fish.

It is today that I glue the wall panel to the wall. I use a construction type of glue, powerful.

Because the slide moulding will hide the bottom part of the panel, I use screws to hold the panel in place.

Now we wait for the glue to dry.

What do we do with Natasha?
We go to the park and have fun.

You've got to clean your teeth before bedtime.

Thursday, June 9, 2022.

Just a normal day with lots of smiles.

Friday, June 10, 2022.

We are camping at River Park in Wakamow, Moose Jaw for 3 days.
We picked up Natasha from daycare.
We think she likes camping and ice cream.

She is playing with toys Gabriel used to play with.

She is having supper with us. She always makes funny faces.

Kristin and Jeremy came to pick her up shortly after supper.

Saturday, June 11, 2022.

This is our campsite, number 68.

Jeremy is gone fishing and Kristin is in Regina for wedding stuff. We have Natasha for the day.
The first place we went is to the Farmer's Market across the road.

We had to stop at the other playground.

It took two times, but she got it.

Ah, the slides.

Natasha is a busy girl.

Nothing beats a lunch outside.

She is so easy to put down for a nap or bedtime.

She loves Mr. Freeze.

We are on our way to another playground. This one is on the other side of the creek.
Some people are in canoes and practicing turning around a buoy.

It is a nice playground and we had lots of fun.

Once back at the MH, a good Mr. Freeze to cool off.

Natasha is helping me eat my Mr. Freeze.

When Jeremy and Kristin came to pick up Natasha, they stayed for supper.

Sunday, June 12, 2022.

Jeremy came for a visit with Natasha this morning. She took all our hats.

Kristin is working on some of the projects for the wedding.
Jeremy went back to help and we kept Natasha with us.
Oh, the faces she makes.

Another good nap with grand-maman keeping an eye on Natasha.

Jeremy and Kristin prepared a good meal for us.
The walleye Jeremy caught yesterday.

Kristin keeps Natasha busy away from the frying.

We are having Fish and meat tacos for supper.

A good family meal together.

We had a beautiful day.

Monday, June 13, 2022

We are leaving the campground today.
We had a good weekend.

We are back to our routine, park, food, and flower?

We received a text message from Crystal Autoglass. Our windshield had been ordered.

Tuesday, June 14, 2022.

We are in Regina to shop for a wedding outfit for Michele this morning.

We had success.

Meanwhile, Jeremy had to come home with one of the "mule" from work.

The chef at work.

Wednesday, June 14, 2022.

Poor little Natasha, she is sick today. She is staying at home.

It is not because you are sick that you cannot play a little.
They are looking for a toy under the buffet.

When Jeremy came home from work, he had to look for the toy.

She got better as the day went on.

Because she is all stuffed up, she sleeps better in a semi-sitting position.

The best medicine, sitting with Daddy.

Until next time.

Life is good...
