Thursday, December 1, 2022.

I tackle the Battery Control Center before lunch.

But first, let me explain  a little about what this Battery Control Center does.
Its main job is to route incoming 12 V DC to either the house batteries or the chassis Battery. That 12 V DC either comes from the alternator when the engine is running or from the inverter/charger when hooked up to shore power. It also prevents either one of them to drain into the other. It does a few other minor control.

I took plenty of photos of the controller and the wiring going into and out of the controller. This will help me reconnect the wiring the proper way.

I take my time to change the controller. It is just a little hard to work on because of how far it is located. It is a little hard on the back.

About one hour later, it is all done.
We started the MH engine and made sure all worked good. Everything is working perfectly.

We spend the rest of the day doing nothing too hard, mostly biking, reading, TV, etc.
Health-wise, I am doing good, other than my allergies.
Tomorrow, I will perform another COVID test.

Friday, December 2, 2022.

The first thing I do this morning is a test for COVID.
Darn! I am still testing positive. I will do another one on Monday.

A little later, I told Michele, "We are going for a car ride just to see something else. I am tired of reading and watching TV".

Even he is tired.

The mountains are much bigger as you get closer.

The highlight of our days is when we receive photos from Kristin and Jeremy.

Natasha loves playing in the snow. She is a very busy little girl.

Saturday, December 3, 2022.

Our Park and the Park next door are having a Park wide yard sale today.
We check them out on our bakes. Because I still tested positive for COVID, I do not touch anything. I even stay on the road and wear a mask.

Surprise! It started to rain just before lunch. It is just a light rain and it goes on all day.

So what do you do when it rains? You stay indoors and read, watch TV, etc.
We also enjoy our new fireplace. It keeps the inside warm and cozy.

Sunday, December 4, 2022.

More photos from Comox, B.C.
We are lucky to have those two girls in our lives.

We have a laid-back day at home.
Yuma has some very nice sunsets.

Tomorrow I will do another COVID test.

Monday, December 5, 2022

I did another COVID test this morning.
It is negative. Here are all three tests I did. I will still be careful over the next few days. When I go to a public place, I will wear a mask.

Jeremy's canoe. He made the seats himself. He did good work.

One more beautiful sunset.

Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

Happy Birthday, Michele. I love you!

As I have mentioned before, we are looking for a used 5th Wheel to leave here in Yuma and become Winter residents.
Some of the 5th Wheel we visited.

For the money they are asking for, they are not in good condition. They have two "lemon Lots" here in the Foothills. This is where people park their vehicles for sale, including RVs and boats.

We continue to drive around other RV Parks and look for RVs for sale.
Michele loves the wall art.

We did not see anything for sale.
We made a quick stop for potable water. It is a little cheaper here. We ended up with 6 gallons for the price of 5.

We spent the evening with Gaétan and Michelle. We had a lot of fun.

Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

It is the full moon tonight. Where are we going?
To Howling at the Moon with friends.

The things you see by the roads.

Here we come.

We are a little off to the side of the main area.
We are with Gaétan, Michelle, Éric, Judith, Dennis and Gail. And some strangers who drop by every now and then.

The main area is on the other side of the vehicles.

The band is not very good, which is surprising.

Avatar was here.

The band did not even stop and told the crowd the moon was rising so we could howl.

But, we still had a great time.

We all brought food.

We also had two propane fire pits with us to keep us warm.

We were a little disappointed because we did not howl at the moon as a group.

After we got back, we all went to Michelle and Gaétan's place.

Overall, we still had a good evening. We sure laughed a lot.

Thursday to Sunday, December 8 to 11, 2022.

We are still on the lookout for a good, used 5th wheel, but we have not found one yet.
We are in no rush anyway.

I decided to join the rest of the week together.
Natasha, all in pink. In the second photo, she just received her flu shot. She did very well.

We dropped by the RV Parts store, just to look around.
This all-metal truck reminds me of the wooden fire truck trucks we built a few years back.
Even the wheels are made of metal.

Saturday morning was breakfast at the park. It was good.

Today, Sunday, we are going for a hike with Gaétan and Michelle.
We tested our selfie stick, perfect!

The mountain climbers. We are going to the white cross at the top.

On route to the top.

It was not very hard or very high.

The view towards the Foothills and Mexico.

A relaxed day, shopping for a used 5th Wheel.

Back in Comox, Jeremy went for a canoe ride on the ocean. He was followed by about 10 seals. He was a little nervous.

Tuesday, December 13, 2022.

Michele found a 5th Wheel for sale on Craig's List. I called the person for a visit. He said sure, right away.
There is a golf course at the entrance of this RV Park. We even saw some Bighorn sheep.

This is the 5th Wheel we are coming to visit. It is a Bighorn 2009, 3055RL.

The bedroom. The photos are a little distorted because I used the wide-angle option.

The view from the top of the stairs.

The living room and kitchen.

It is in very nice shape. We negotiate a price that works for us. We buy it!
We both agree we will take possession only in mid-March.
We are happy.

It is bingo night too. Michele won the Jackpot, $129.

We can only think about our new (to us) 5th Wheel.

Thursday, December 14, 2022.

It is Hamburger night at the clubhouse. We decided to try them out.

They were very bland.

Some friends in our Park bought a Park Model trailer in the Park. It does need a good cleaning and some upgrades.
We help them clean the windows.

Thursday, December 15, 2022.

We continue washing windows for our friends. The windows were filthy.
We spend 2 to 3 hours a day for 3 days cleaning windows, all 12 of them.

When they bought the Park Model. The previous owner left quite a few items.
Michele took it and cleaned it. We now have a nice Ninja Airfryer.

Until next time.

Life is good...
