Tuesday, Wednesday, May 16 and 17, 2023.

Shoot! I forgot to take pictures at Christianne's apartment. I guess we were so relaxed we forgot.
We spent two days at Christianne's place. Odette's funeral plans changed a little. That is OK.
Estelle came by for a few hours.

Thank you so much, Christianne, for the hospitality. We know we turned your life upside down a little.

Thursday, May 18, 2023.

Today is the funeral of Odette, Michele's sister.

Alain, Suzanne, and Alix were present.

So were Alix, Jocelyne, Patrice, Onyx, Michele.

After the funerals, we had lunch at a local restaurant.

We will be spending the night with Patrice in his 5th wheel. The 5th wheel is at Jocelyne's place.

We had a lot of catching up to do with Jocelyne. We talked all afternoon.

Friday, May 19, 2023.

Surprise! We ran out of water.
We backed the 5th wheel to fill up the freshwater tank.
All this is under Jocelyne and Michele's supervision.

And back to the right spot.

We left Patrice behind after lunch. We are heading to his place in Saint-Benoit-Labre, near Saint-Georges.

We had to go through Saint-Georges.

Patrice is spending the night in Berthierville because he has a doctor's appointment late afternoon.

Patrice got home just after dark. The doctor was not behind in his day. Patrice had time to come home before dark.

We spent the day talking and helping around the house.

Sunday, May 21, 2023.

Today, we tackled the two Split ACs (HVAC). It needs cleaning.

Patrice does not do well with heights. I take care of the cleaning.

The one on the second floor is another story.

But we managed to do it safely.

Catherine and her boyfriend, Tommy, came by for supper and for the evening.

We played some games and had lots of fun.

We have to leave our family one more time.
Goodbye Patrice and Manon, thank you for the good times.

On our way to Montreal to visit Benoit once more. We stopped in Saint-Hyacinthe to have lunch with our friends from Yuma. Éric, Judith, Gaétan and Michelle.

What a fun lunch it was. It felt like we were talking together a few days ago.

After this good meal with good friends, we left for Montreal. We will stop and visit Benoit for a few hours.
Because it is a long weekend, we expected the roads near Montreal to be congested. Especially the Pont-tunnel Louis-Hippolyte Lafontaine. Surprise! The traffic was moving well.

It was fun to spend a few hours with Benoit.

The traffic between Montreal and Trenton was lighter than expected. We were in the slow lane at 115 km/h. The speed limit is 100 km/h.

I am cutting grass at Jannie and Jan's place.

Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

What do you do on a Wednesday afternoon?
You burn old lumber.

I will have to continue burning tomorrow.

Thursday, May 25, 2023.

I am back at burning old lumber.

I also put up ads to sell the MH and the car. The ads are now live on Market Place and on Kijiji.ca.

Now we wait for a call. If it sells great, if not, it is still good. It is all paid for anyway. We can still use it.

Friday, May 26, 2023.

We were invited to the house park for lunch. Thanks, Jannie for the invitation.

The side cameras on the MH are no longer working. Time to see what is the problem with them.
Since we are selling the MH, they should be working. Personally, I do not really care for the side camera on the MH.

Surprise! They are bad. I found them online and at a dealer. They cost around $240 each.

I am going to think about this one for a while.

Saturday, May 27, 2023.

I am helping Jan reorganize the storage compound to make room for the boat trailers.

In the afternoon, I went with Michele to her appointment at the diagnostic center. No worries, all is good. It is just a follow-up.

Just before supper, I decided to wash the car. It really needed it.

And a good, ice-cold beer after.

The other day, I came across a friend of mine, Dave. We decided to have breakfast this morning to catch up some more our each other's lives.
We are at Vic in Picton.

We sure talked about stuff for a long time. It is always fun to meet up with Dave. Take care, my friend.

Vic is a nice place for breakfast.

If you remember, two of the three roof vent covers broke during our trip back from Yuma.
I am installing new ones today.
