Friday, December 1, 2023.

We started doing some chair exercises for seniors twice a week. We attended 2 classes and liked it a lot.
All we do is follow a lady on YouTube.

As I mentioned before, Michele does some couponning.
Her last "deal" was like this, All this for only $3.48. Unbelievable!

It is time to do a modification to the 5th wheel.
The computer desk is on the narrow end of the table. The wider part has an electric fireplace.
I am removing the fireplace to use our laptop on the wide part of the table.
It will be more comfortable when using the laptop.

We spent the evening with our friends at the campfire.

Saturday, December 2, 2023.

It is the Park Wide Yard Sale of every RV Park in the area.
I put everything I want to sell out by 7:30. Michele is going around the Parks to look for some deals.

With the yard sale over, Michele goes to Dollar General for more deals.
She came back with those two packages. The total was $40, but she got $22 back in coupons so she paid just $18.

Jannie and Jan came for a visit in the morning. We had a lot of catching up to do.

Sunday, December 3, 2023.

We had a relaxing day at home. I still gave a hand decorating the hall. Michele did go to the pharmacy for some couponning.

Monday and Tuesday, December 4 and 5, 2023

Not much happened on Monday.

But on Tuesday, we are talking a lot of action.
At 10 am, Michele and I were at our first "Line Dancing Course."

After the dance class, we have a Chair exercise for senior class.

The rest of the day, Michele did couponing, and I did the social thing.

Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

Happy Birthday, Michele.

She is again the same age as me until my birthday in Mai.
Friday will also be Eric's birthday. Judith and Eric invited us for supper to celebrate both birthdays.

Eric cooked a nice pork loin stuffed with ham and mozzarella cheese. The whole loin was wrapped in bacon.
It was delicious!

After this good meal, we all retired to the backyard for a campfire. As usual, we had a lot of laughter. So much fun.

Thursday, December 7, 2023.

Michele does a lot of couponing.
Here are some deals she has had since the beginning of the week.
Using coupons, Michele only paid $1.07 for all 102 sheets of Bounce.

With coupons, she only paid $5.00 for what you see here.

Once more, only $2.79 for all that.

And she is getting better and better at finding ways to save.

Friday, December 8, 2023.

We had a nice video call with Benoit this morning. It is always fun to talk to him.

Gaétan and I went door to door for about 1:30 in the afternoon, selling 50/50 tickets for tomorrow's draw.

Because of Michele's birthday on Wednesday and Eric's birthday today, a group of friends went to the Texas Roadhouse for supper.

When you are in a group of 10, it takes a little longer to find a table for the group, even with a reservation.

With a large group, it is difficult to get everyone's attention for a photo.

It is a big restaurant, and it was packed.

I had a steak. Michele chose the burger. It was all very good.

When it is your birthday, you get to ride the saddle.

Back at the RV Park, Michele and I went to the dance at the hall.
We had a lot of fun dancing and talking with friends.

Saturday, December 9, 2023.

We have a Park-wide breakfast this morning. We keep selling 50/50 for about one hour.
The breakfast was good, and so was the selling of 50/50 tickets.
I forgot to take any photos.

Michele did some more couponing. She saved $16 when she bought this.

We took a stroll around the Park to check out the Christmas lights.

Sunday, December 10, 2023.

We had another breakfast this morning. This time, it was at Eric and Judith.
Guess what? I forgot to take photos.

We had a signer on the patio this afternoon.

But with the cold, north wind blowing, we had fewer people attending the show.

The one here made up with enthusiasm.

We had a Mexican food truck present as well.

Yep, a cold north wind was blowing.

Michele listened to the signing while in the pool. She said the water felt really warm.

She had a birthday party with friends from the daycare.

I love this photo.

Renzo, the man coming to do the pavers, should be here on Tuesday. We have some doubts. We will see.

Monday, December 11, 2023

Jan and Jannie came over for a visit. Michele cut Jan's hair at the same time.
Once again, a lot of talking is happening.

Renzo, the gentleman I hired to do the patio stones, is supposed to start tomorrow.
We moved the shed out of the way.

Natasha has a bad cold, but at times, she has lots of energy.

Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

We were waiting for Renzo this morning, but when he finally called, he said he was coming this afternoon.

So off to the line dancing classes we went. We also did the chair exercise.

Renzo finally arrived at 4 pm.
He worked until 6 pm. He said he will come back tomorrow afternoon. At what time?
He did a lot of work during the two hours he was here. Even if he spent 40 minutes on the phone.
He took his time measuring and re-measuring to confirm it would all fit together nicely.
He has to remove all the gravel.

He uses desert sand as a filler. He will continue tomorrow.

Renzo's truck was broken last week. He got behind in his contracts. I think he is working on two jobs at this time.
We will see how long it will take him to do our patio. He is not expensive, so we can't complain either.

Our evening at bingo went well. Michele won $106 at the last game of the night.

Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

No photos for today. Renzo kept working on the foundation of the patio.

Thursday, December 14, 2023.

Renzo arrived at 10 this morning. First thing this morning, he went to buy the patio stones.
He came with two pallets of patio stones.

He adds a light layer of fine sand. The patio stones will go on top of the fine sand.

By 13:45, he has done quite a lot of work.

Renzo ran out of sand at 15:30, so his day is over.

This is where he was when he left.

I have to say, it is moving at a good rate so far. Renzo is Mexican. When you hire a Mexican, you have to be flexible on timing. The cost is lower than most, and the work is usually excellent.
