A nice, relaxing day at home.

Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

We went to Bioped in Belleville for Michele.
On our way back, we stopped at a thrift store in Trenton.
As I was coming out of the store, I saw a woman bleeding profusely from her hand.
I did first aid on her hand. She was doing good. She decided to go to the hospital for stitches.

I would like to say it was an ordinary day, but no. But the rest of the day was without incident.

Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

Jan needed help at the Park. I gave him a hand mounting two TV monitors for the cameras.
We also relocated network cables in the crawl space of the house. I got the good part of the job, in the living room. Jan got to go in the crawl space.

Thursday, May 4, 2023.

We had our doctor's appointment this morning. All is good with both of us. Michele has to go for an ultrasound Saturday morning.

Friday, May 5, 2023.

I am helping out at the Park again this morning. I am cutting the grass in the Park.

Meanwhile, Michele went for her mammogram. We will be waiting for the results.

Once the grass was cut, I gave a hand to Jan to install a new power box at one of the sites.

We had another appointment at the end of the afternoon. It was at Hear Canada, formerly Helix.
We both lost a little more of our hearing. The hearing aids we both have were just readjusted.

We had a busy day.

Saturday, May 6, 2023.

We are putting all the docks in the water this morning. As per previous years, I looked after the spacer blocks between the docks when they were stacked.

I left the Park around 10ish to go with Michele to Trenton Diagnostics for her ultrasound.
One more test we have to wait for the results.

It was just an ordinary, relaxing day for us.

Both Kristin and Natasha were at the beach at Goose Spit in Comox.

It looks like Jeremy is praying to the Bicycle Good, but no, he is stretching his back muscles. He had a bad crash a few days earlier.

I was busy cutting more grass at the park. An ordinary day in our lives.

Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

Natasha is going to the hospital this morning. She is getting her tonsils and adenoids removed.
Natasha is on her way to the hospital.

Natasha is not even concerned. She was well prepared by Mom and Dad.

She still finds it took too long to get going.

The surgery went well. They will keep her overnight just to make sure.
She loves the diet.

I am working at the park again. I am moving the dirt removed from the new parking lot for employees.

I am using both RTV, the 900 and the 1100.

I took all the old wood to the back of the house to burn it later on.

With this job done, I help Jan with the internet antenna installation.

It was a busy day.

Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

The park has lost its employee. This is why I work a little more than usual at this time of the year.
Today I am washing the chairs and tables in the clubhouse.

Thursday, May 11, 2023.

I am working today too. We moved both blowers.

I cut more grass today. The whole park.
The park has an unwritten rule, you do not want to be the first one to get stuck with the lawnmower. They will tease you all summer if you do.
I am the first one!

I cut the grass at Jan and Jannie's house too.

While cutting the grass at the house, I saw this dead turkey near the wood pile. I wonder what it died from.
I am not moving it. I will let the wild animals take care of the remains.

It was a long grass-cutting day, from 8 am to 4 pm.

Friday, May 12, 2023.

Every Friday, we have lunch at the park house. Complement of the park.
Patricia does not miss much. She made a certificate for me. The employee of the week.

She made a good one too!

We all had a good laugh, well, mostly them.
Thank you all for this. I know it is from the bottom of your heart.

After work, we had a cold beer on the back deck at Jan and Jannie's house. She even had supper prepared for us.

Saturday, May 13, 2023.

We are travelling to Quebec today. We are on our annual trip to visit family in Quebec.
We are at Benoit's place tonight. We did not take the MH with us this time around.
We Skyped with Jeremy and Natasha. It was fun.

We had to do a Tequila shooter with Benoit.

It is fun to be with Benoit again. We spent the night at his place. Tomorrow we are going to my sister's place, Estelle.

The weather is really nice in Comox, B-C.

It is Mother's Day. Estelle has invited all her family.
