Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

The forecasters are calling for high winds and cloudy conditions until late into the night.
Gaétan is helping me level the 5th Wheel. All done! Thanks, Gaétan.

The winds picked up even more in the afternoon. I just stayed in the 5th Wheel and read some literature that came with the 5th Wheel.

The cyclist from Hawaii.

These two have a good connection.

I do not know why she has her fingers pointing up. It must be part of a song they learned at daycare.

She is having a great time in her bath with the glow sticks.

Thursday, March 2, 2023.

Natasha is washing the outside toys she wants to use indoors.

What a cute.

Natasha loves crepes, but she discovered she can open it up, lick the brown sugar and then eat the crepe.

More photos from Hawaii.

Friday, March 3, 2023.

What did I do today?
I installed the TV cable and relocated the power cord under the 5th Wheel.

I installed and recharged the water softener and connected the sewer hose.

I washed all the cupboards and closets in the 5th Wheel.
It was not dirty or even dusty in them. I had a busy day.

Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Today, Jeremy and Kristin are coming back from Hawaii.
Natasha is on her way to soccer practice.

She loves soccer.

Jeremy and Kristin are home. Natasha is keeping them busy.

She is one happy little girl having her parents home.

Sunday, March 5, 2023.

I went to Walmart for groceries this morning. I checked out the small two-step ladders. We need one in our 5th Wheel to reach the top shelves in the kitchen. I checked out the prices on Amazon. Walmart is the cheapest place.
Next time I go to Walmart, I will buy one.

Today, I washed the dishes and the fridge.

Michele is coming back Sunday. I cannot wait to see her again.

Monday, March 6, 2023

I finally finished the installation of the hot water tank on the MH.
All that was left to do was cover the two holes I made to remove and install the hot water tank.
Two small sheets of metal are screwed over the holes. It is done now.

Natasha with her new t-shirt from Hawaii.

Michele and Jeremy went for a drive and a walk in the snow.

I did more small stuff around the 5th wheel.

Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

Top Of The line, a cleaning company, came to clean the carpets, sofa, two reclining chairs, four dining table chairs and the mattress.

I watched them cleaning. I am happy with the kind of job they do.

In about an hour, they are done. They did good work. For $260, I am happy with the work they did.

Jean, Carole, Michel, France and I are at the Howling of the Moon. The place is packed with people this time around.

We found a good location to put down our chairs. The wind is coming our way, so the sound from the band is loud and clear.

The werewolf came for a visit.

France thinks it is funny to see Carole jumping to get a photo of her and the werewolf.

The lady with blond hair is from Australia. She asked if she could take a photo of us with the propane fire pit. They do not do this in Australia, she told us. Sure, and we told her we were all French-Canadian. She could use that when she goes back to Australia.
She just smiled and said, "you're Québecois." We are all surprised she knows this. She continues to tell us she lived in Ottawa when she was young. What a small world we live in! Doris is a very nice person. She made our evening even more special.

What a sunset.

Half an hour later, the moon was coming over the mountains. We all howled at it. The estimates were between 1500 to 2000 peoples tonight.

This full moon is called the "Worm Moon". The reason is the sun warming the ground at this time of the year, the worms come out of hibernation. This is a sign of spring. In Canada, this last moon of March is called the "sugar Moon". It means the maple trees are running. Maple syrup will be coming soon.

Jeremy and Michele went for a walk in the forest.

Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

I was busy today but took no photos. I cleaned the MH and did a lot of socials.
I finished the day at Judith and Éric with a fire with friends. Michel, France, Jean and Carole.

Thursday, March 9, 2023.

Michele got a haircut before she comes back home.

She also found a game of Jok-r-ummy in a thrift store for only $5.

This afternoon, we had a band on the patio. This is part of the "Thank You" from the park owner to the campers.
Not many people were present, but they made it up with enthusiasm.

It was a hot day. We were all looking for shade.

Our good friends, France and Michel, with me in the background.

The music was good, and being with friends made it even better.

Friday, March 10, 2023.

Michele and Jeremy went out for a hike.

Ah, the things you can find in British Columbia's forest.

As for me? I cleaned the MH fridge and a few other things.

Every Friday evening we have a dance at the rec hall. It is an informal dance. It is just to practice line dancing.

We also have a lot of fun at the tables...

Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Natasha on a Saturday morning. She is always smiling.

Saturday is soccer day for her. She kicks pretty good. She is very precise when she kicks the ball.
Kristin is/was very good at sports, so was Jeremy. She takes after her parents.

Our RV Park and the other RV Parks around here are having a yard sale today.
I had a few things for sale. I made a big $6. I went around the other RV Park to check out the yard sales.

Back in Comox, Michele and the gang are out for a short hike to a fall.

Natasha makes nice photos.

Father and daughter's time.

This is one tired little girl.

Sunday, March 12, 2023.

Michele is coming back to Yuma today.
Her flight leaves early (4 h 45 am) from Comox.

I left Yuma around 8 am to go to Phoenix airport.
With a speed limit of 75 mph (120 km/h), you cover a lot of ground. Even more when traffic goes more than 80 mph (130 km/p). Today is Sunday, very little traffic on the highway.

With all the rain we have been getting this winter. The desert is blooming.

Michele is flying to Calgary to catch her flight to Phoenix, Arizona.
She is flying over the Canadian Rockies.

In Calgary, they had to de-ice the airplane before they could take off.

This is the photo we sent Jeremy and Kristin to let them know we are home.

I am really happy to have Michele back with me.
Tomorrow, we are officially moving into the 5th wheel.

Monday, March 13, 2023

Our first meal in the 5th wheel.

We are moving more stuff from the MH to the 5th wheel. We now live in the 5th wheel.
We will move stuff from the MH to the 5th wheel over the next few days.
It is hot today, so we are taking our time.

Jeremy bought a Cannondale bicycle frame for Gabriel when he comes over for the summer. He will move the components of his old bike to this frame.

Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

We have another hot day today (+30º C.). We moved more stuff this morning. We did not do much in the afternoon.

We played bingo in the evening. We did not win a cent.

Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

This morning, I helped Éric to turn his shed around.

In an RV Park, you always have a lot of help from people.
In less than an hour, the shed is turned around and levelled. They are happy with the results.

Later in the day, we went to the clubhouse to watch the video from the Mock fashion show that took place about a month ago.
It was funny to watch.

Judith and Éric invited a bunch of friends over for a fire.
We had a lot of fun.

Another good day.

Until next time.

Life is good...
