The weather at 9 am. Next to it, the maximum temperature we reached today.

Wednesday December 18, 2019

Just like most Wednesday, we go for a walk in the flea market next door. The dark cloud you see is from burning the sugar cane fields before they harvest.

Half an hour later, the soot from the burning is coming down on us. The problem with this soot is that when it lands on you car or RV and you have rain or dew the next day, the soot sticks to your vehicle. Not nice!

After we had got back home, Michele went to do laundry.

This evening we are going to a Christmas Show at the clubhouse. We never seen Tom Wurth before. It should be good. I know the date on the poster is not good.

It is a weird day weather wise. It is cold when you are in the wind, but out of the wind, it is nice and warm.
Time to change the old drawers.

A good clean-up is required.

We had a lot of rain during our trip down to Texas. Some of that rain made its way in the two compartments while driving. This is why I had to clean all the tools and junk from the drawers before I place them in the new drawers.

Tada! They are a little bigger. I will have to be careful not to fill them with more stuff.

Thursday is petanque day.

Once again we had a lot of fun.
Weather forecast for tomorrow? Rain!

They did not make a mistake with the forecast. It is raining and for the whole day too!

If you wonder why I have many photos of the temperature and write about the weather. It is so we can remember what it was like in a few years.

We went out to look for a shelf for the DVD player. We did not find the one we wanted.
We also stopped by the Feldmans liquor store.
We could not believe they had a "box" of vodka for sale!
Really! They even tell you on the box that you can make 79 shooters!

More bad weather!

The windshield with rain and not rain on it.

If we convert the price of gas in Canadian dollars, it would be about $0.75 per liter.

Because of the weather we are having. We decided to go for a car ride. We dropped by the Blue Bonnet RV Park.
We were here in 2017 and it was almost empty. It is just a little more busier this time.

We continued until the hwy 83 joins the 83 B. We using that road just to visit.

We stopped by a Lowes to check out the shelves and we found one!

We made it back home and watched tv the rest of the day.

Sunday December 22, 2019.

I am out for breakfast at the Alamo restaurant. It is very busy this morning.

After I got back home, I decided to change the water filters on the MH.
I changed the two outside filters. They are way under the MH to protect them from direct sunlight.

The old filters. The green one is probably from the water here. When we arrived, there were very few RV's in our section. I thing the green comes from the water sitting in the pipes for a longtime. The filters did what they were supposed to do, filters the bad stuff.

I also changed the water filter in the fridge.

At one o'clock, we went to the clubhouse to see the variety show.
We were a long way from the stage.

Monday December 23, 2019

A nice hot day today. We have a small, very small Christmas Parade with some motorcycles, golf carts and bikes.

As in most Monday's it is bingo night!
No luck for either of us.

I am starting a cold and my throat hurts.

Tuesday December 24, 2019

I was not feeling very good this morning. I almost lost my voice to the pleasure of certain people!
But! I had a nap in the afternoon and woke up felling very good! I feel so good that I will be going to the Christmas Eve party at Louise and André. We had a lot of fun. I forgot to take Louise and Andre's picture!!! Thank you Louise and André for inviting us.

When I opened the door this morning, I found this package on our steps. No idea who dropped it off!
Thank you who ever you are.

We skyped with Benoit this morning. All is good for him in Montreal.

We are having Christmas Dinner at the clubhouse. Once again, the Park supplies the main course and the campers supply the side dish.

Friends of ours, Julie and Jeff, from Wisconsin with their nephew Andy and is wife Bobbie. Very good people.

Do you want golf carts? I think there is more golf carts in this park than in a gold course.

The meal was at 1 pm and by 2:15 we were almost pushed out of the clubhouse! This is normal with OLD people.

We went to the Mercadome flea market. We saw many Piñatas and bags of candies to put in them.

Many RV Park in the Valley have RC racetrack. Today our Park has races with other Parks.

It was a hot day for racing.

I watched 4 or 5 races, but it was too hot for me.

So, to the pool we went.

Saturday December 28, 2019

We have a cloudy sky. The wind is blowing pretty hard, but it is hot!

I did my bike ride today, a nice 5.7 km.

After that, I installed the shelf for the DVD player. This way the DVD player will no longer be on the kitchen table.

Just enough room for the DVD player.

While I was in the pool, André mentioned he was going to pick-up his cushions from a local upholsterer.
I went with him and talked to the owner about our seats in the MH. We came to an agreement on a price of $650 for both. I will talk it over with Michele. The following photo shows some of the deterioration of the seat. Do not talk to me about the manufacturer warranty...

The upholsterer must be good, look at the toys he got!

Surprise! Me that never watch sports on TV, I watched the whole Raptors game, They won against the Boston Celtic.

I must have biked a different route. I biked for 6 km today!

After biking, Michele and I went to the flea market for a walk.

Even with the wind, cloudy sky and only 20° C, we still went in the pool.

What a nice sunset!

The other day, we bought a light for a baseball cap for biking at night.
Michele is using it to go to petanque.

A good week, very nice Christmas.

Monday December 30, 2019

Michele went to the local thrift stores like every Monday morning.

A few days ago, Jeremy sent us this picture.
He loves ice fishing.

Gabriel arrived today at Jeremy and Kristin's place.
The net you see if for catching minnows this summer.

We have neighbors for the last few days.
This morning he was installing his sewer hose. But! He is missing about 6 feet of hoses. I offered one of mine, but he refused, OK!

I did not play WII bowling today because they were not playing!
Did laundry. No pool today. Cool temperature and windy today.

Bingo night!

Michele was lucky tonight. She won $8.

The last day of 2019!
The weather is not nice, but it is not raining at least!

This evening we are watching French-Canadian tv shows.

We eat finger-food all evening.

Now comes the traditional Bye Bye 2019.

Our very small Christmas tree.

Most of the people in the Valley are from Hispanic origin and they love fireworks.
The fireworks started at around 8 pm and lasted until well past midnight.
