Kristin and Jeremy are hosting another lunch with Kristin's parents, John et Audrey and Jay and Zack. Erin did not come this time because she has painting lessons today.

Zack and Gabriel have a lot of fun in the pool.

It was a good day.

A super hot front as come in our area yesterday and it is hot today, +33° C. This is supposed to stay with us for a week at least.
We spent the morning indoor getting ready for this afternoon.
Natasha just being pretty!

Jeremy is feeling so much better.
Look what he is doing to Natasha!

Nicole and her clan came for a visit in the afternoon. Gabriel is playing with Joshua, Madeleine and Logan in the pool.

All in the pool.

Shortly after, Joshua and Logan got out of the pool. They were too cold!

The two stronger ones, Gabriel and Madeleine stayed in for a lot longer.

I even went in the pool to cool off.

They all had to take a break. Ice cream for everyone.

We had a great afternoon.
Kristin has more baseball tonight. She left before supper.
Jeremy and Gabriel left after supper to go fishing one last time. They are carp fishing.
They are fishing at the dam at Buffalo Pound.

It is still hot after supper (+32° C).
Carp fishing is a lot of waiting for the fish to bite.
So, while waiting for the bite, why not watch a movie in the back of the car!

The view from the back of Jeremy's car.
A conservation officer came by to check on the fishing permit for Jeremy. All was good.
Since all was good. The conservation agent took Gabriel to her car and gave him a new fishing lure for doing everything by the book.

Michele and I are home with Natasha. It is 35° C in the MH at 7 pm.

It was very hot in the MH last night.

While I walking by the MH this morning, a wasp bit me on the second toe.
It hurt like hell! after a few minutes, even the front of my foot was itchy!!!

Gabriel loves going to the tanks and today is the day we go.
But first, we had breakfast at A&W.

The triple spooning!

The pool was very nice today.

Natasha is trying a straw for the first time.
She not that good with it. Maybe later?

Grand-maman's turn in the pool.

A big jump into the pool.

Kristin took many photos of the family.
Big brother and little sister.

With Daddy.

Father, mother, son, grandson and granddaughter.

What a beautiful family! We love them.

Kristin has an appointment at around supper time. She gave instructions to Jeremy of cooking the supper.

The two boys watching TV.

Kristin made homemade ice cream after supper. It is for Gabriel.

Gabriel is still awkward with Natasha in his arm.

Tomorrow Gabriel is going back to his mother's house.
Tonight being the last night with us. He went in the pool for a long time after supper.
He enjoys running and jumping in the pool.

It looks like Jeremy is throwing Gabriel over the fence.

The day ended with a fire and s'mores.

It was a nice evening.

The big trip!
Gabriel is happy to go back to his mom's house, but sad at the same time for leaving his father's house.

Kristin has baseball today. Natasha is spending time with grand-maman.

Saskatchewan is so flat!

We are in the small town of Kindersley for the "exchange" of Gabriel with his mother.
Kindersley is about 4 hours away from Moose Jaw, one way.
We made sure we arrived early so we could fish on one of the ponds. It is a hot day again, +35° C.
We also know Gabriel's mom will more than likely be late.

The pond we fish in is a reservoir and the water is green.
Jeremy is the only one catching fishes.

Natasha is having a grand time with grand-maman.

Goodbye Gabriel, see you next year.

Thursday, August 20, 2020

Jeremy has some shopping to do at the Super Store.
Off we go with Natasha. Jeremy can not help and tries some hat on Natasha.

Trying some cool sunglasses.

Really cool!

This is the first time she tries watermelon.

Nope, not one of her favorites.

But when it is put in a mesh sucker, it is not so bad.

When Jeremy saw Natasha with her little sundress, he had an idea.
He asked Kristin to get her good camera and he went by the garden to pick up a real sunflower.
It just matches her dress.

We spend a little time outside on the front patio and a mister freeze.

So many bubbles at once!

At the end of the afternoon, me, Jeremy and his friend, Francis, we went to have a look at one of the bridge that got washed out on the mountain bike trail they made. Once the solution was agreed upon, we left. We will come back Saturday morning when it is cooler.

Jeremy doing crazy things with Spider-Woman (Natasha)...

Friday, August 21, 2020

It is still very hot outside, (+33° C). The night time temperature was horrible. It was hot and muggy. To top it all off, we had to close our windows because it was raining a little.
It will be an indoor day, mostly.

Someone called and is interested in Jeremy's motorcycle. We tried to start it, but the battery is dead. A new one will be required.

Back indoors because of the heat.

Change of plan.
We were supposed to go and fix the bridge Saturday morning, but Francis had to change his plan.
His mother will arrive earlier Saturday morning, she is flying in.
So they decided to go after supper. I decline because of the heat,  way too hot for me.
This is the result of their hard work.

Jeremy told me after that bugs were terrible. It was very hot in the valley.

Saturday, August 22, 2020

It was cooler last night. We had a good night of sleep.

To everyone's surprise, Jeremy offered Michele to go yard saling with her!

They did buy some stuff.

Hummm! Grand-papa cooking supper?
A soup à la Natasha.

Ouch, this is hot!!!

Taking some fresh air after the bath.

A nice day.

Sunday, August 23, 2020

Another lazy morning at home. Jeremy and I left for about one hour. We picked up some old deck wood he could use to build structures for the mountain bike trail.

When Natasha woke up from her nap, she spent some time with me on the sofa.

Crazy stuff!

We had fun on the floor too!

Grand-maman is going for a walk with Natasha.

Natasha is enjoying the walk!

Natasha and mommy. It was funny, Natasha was growling to express her happiness.

It was a busy week.

Monday, August 24, 2020

Another easy day at home.

It was so hot, we even went in the pool to cool off.

This is a photo of our son Benoit in Montreal. Just enjoying corn on the cub.

Taking some fresh air (OK, hot air) before Natasha goes to bed.

Tuesday, August 25, 2020

She makes so many funny faces.

Let's get busy!
Closing out the pool. Lots of cleaning to do.

The important step. The drying  before the storage.

She is one happy little girl!

Wednesday, August 26, 2020

Jeremy and Kristin are gone fishing this morning. Not with the boat, just shore fishing
Natasha in our big bed. A little coddling with grand-papa.

It is beautiful and not too hot. I am going for a walk with Natasha.

She loves her jumper.

Jeremy and Kristin came back empty-handed from fishing.
Jeremy is enjoying some time with his daughter.

Thursday, August 27, 2020

Jeremy and Kristin left again very early this morning to go fishing with the boat this time.
Natasha is playing with her new toy.

Jump, jump jump!

Once again, some fresh air before bedtime.

Once again, Jeremy and Kristin came back empty-handed, but happy.

Friday, August 28, 2020

The nights are cooling off a lot more at this time of the year. It is so much better for sleeping (10° C.).
We went yard saling this morning.

Gabriel got a new hair cut before school starts. His mom sent us the photo.
Good looking man!

It is another easy day at home.
I make Natasha listen to some French song I grew up with.

Saturday, August 29, 2020

We went out again for more yard sales this morning.

When we got back, Kristin was preparing a Zucchini bread.

It was very good, too good.

Our Natasha that we love so much.

This is the last Tiger Lily flower of the season.
Kristin and Jeremy won a gift card from the Base for a beautiful front lawn with a flower bed.

Sunday, August 30, 2020

Today is a special day!
We are going to Kristin's parents for supper in Regina.

We all went with Kristin and Jeremy's car.

And she goes!

At Audrey and John's place, we went into the backyard for the rest of the afternoon.
It is a beautiful and cozy backyard.

What a great couple! We love them.

Grandma Audrey.

Natasha does not mind grass anymore.

Tomato thief...

John in the background. He came out with his bottle of scotch.
He was right. It was excellent.

Natasha looks so small in there.

Audrey and John have their two daughters with family over.
From the left end of the table...
Zak, Jay, Erin, Audrey, Michele, John, Kristin, Natasha, Jeremy and Anna.

John, Kristin, Natasha, Jeremy, Anna, Jay, Erin, Audrey and Michele.

We had a good time today. The food was excellent, the conversation was very interesting, great!

Monday, August 31, 2020

This is August's last day!
Time flies!
Natasha is not in her normal state because of her tooth coming. She is in pain and cranky.

I have to change the gray water valve. It is hard to pull open and push close.
This is the new valve I bought at a yard sale last winter. It is a new one.

Shoot! The new valve is 2 inches. The valve on the MH is a 1 and 1/2inch valve.
Since I have the old one out, I clean it very well. Lubricate it and put it back. It is working very well now!
I will still buy the right size and change it later on. Just in case...

Kristin and Natasha.

Until next time.

Life is good...
