April first and we are not in the mood to play April's fools day.
It is sunny and we enjoy it.

We watch TV.

We talk to the neighbors, at a distance of course.

We walk to the office to surf the net for a while.

Hummm! I can see why no dogs and cats, but no Unicorn, Dolphins, T-Rex or Pikachu, that is bad!

A bull in a cage?

Cocktail at Patrice and Manon this afternoon. Bloody Caesar on special today. Don't want to mix our cups!

Supper is at our place tonight. A nice pork roast that everyone seems to have enjoyed.

Our confinement is not too bad so far.

I almost forgot, our neighbor is a really nice man. Once or twice a week he asked us if we need anything from the store and if we do, he gets is for us. We needed milk and he got is for us. Thanks Doug.

Thursday, April 2, 2020

And now that Patrice and Manon have milk, Patrice invited us for pancake for lunch.

It is warm and sunny right now. I use this nice weather to wash half the MH.
It is a very quick wash.

Patrice has asked the owner if he could move behind us. They moved because one of the seasonal campers makes a fire every day and I mean a very smoky fire, no flames at all, just smoke.

On the move. As you can see our front bumper is almost on the road.

Moving in behind us.

Flick does not care where is moves to.

With the move done, time to get some sun.

Friday, April 3, 2020

Brrrr! It was on the cold side last night. Frost on the car, what is up with that?

Patrice has to use many sewer hose to reach the sewer connection.

With that done, time for a break.

We are very close, but that is OK.

Another walk and more internet surfing.

I also finished washing the MH.

Saturday, April 4, 2020

More photos of our grand-daughter, Natasha. Thanks Kristin and Jeremy.

Today is window cleaning. They really needed it.

Another load of laundry done by hand.

Manon getting Flick tired. Flick loves running after the ball.

Remember that bull in cage? Here it is.

We play a few games of Crib before supper.

Michele made a breakfast dish in the crockpot and served it for supper.

We all loved it.

Flick and his ball.

Michele goes to watch a movie at Patrice and Manon. I stayed home.

Sunday, April 5, 2020.

Our last Sunday in isolation.

Our usual morning walk.

When in isolation, you have to find something to do.
Luckily, someone is moving out off the campground. This gives us something to look at...
We know that they have two greyhounds with them. They are mostly held indoor.
As they were packing, they moved two dogs in the van. Then one more, then 2 more!
They had five greyhounds in the travel trailer. No wonder when we walk past you could smell something not nice coming from the RV.
Kind of glad to see them leaving.

It is hair cut day here. Patrice is next after me.

Another view of our sites.

More photos from Jeremy and Kristin. We cannot wait to see this little girl.

Natasha makes a funny face because she just had applesauce for the first time.

Tomorrow, our self-isolation will be over. It does not mean we will be going all over the place, but we sure will do a quick grocery shopping trip and be as safe as possible.

Monday, April 6, 2020

A little humour for this Monday morning.
Making sure the two meters are observed.

With binoculars...

We are getting ready to cut Flick's nails.

We really have to hold him solidly and give him treats to keep him calm.

We enjoy the sun where ever we can.

We even do some exercise.

Our self-isolation is over and we went to the store for some groceries. We made it quick and safe.

Tuesday, April 7, 2020

Now, that is the dream RV with toys.

We had a nice morning, but we had rain for the whole afternoon.
Michele did some laundry this morning. We had to hang everything indoor for it to dry.

Manon and Patrice have invited us for supper.

We had a good meal and lots of fun playing games.

Jeremy must be bored, look at what he did to Natasha.

We had some thunder during the evening.

Wednesday, April 8, 2020

No sun this morning.
It is not very warm either (+4° C).

The sun came back in the afternoon and the temperatures climbed to 13° C.

With a full belly, you sleep better!

Thursday, April 9, 2020

Patrice and I helped one camper who was leaving the park. He got stuck with his MH.
So we gave him a hand while keeping our distances.

With the sun shining, it feels warmer (+8° C).
Since the bikes are now dry, I place them in the car for our trip to Trenton. On Monday morning.

The weather forecast is calling for nasty weather for the next few days. We enjoy the sun one last time.
Then, in the late afternoon, the snow came.

Michele watches the snow coming down.

In less than an hour, we lost almost 3 degrees.

We are still nice and toasty in the MH.

Friday, April 10, 2020

Brrrr! Not very warm this morning.

What!

I had left my water hose outside and it froze. Lucky for me, it did not freeze hard enough to break the hose. This is why I almost always have water in the freshwater tank. You never know when you may need it. I will be using the reservoir from now on.

On our way to the dumpster and a nice walk.

We do listen to the news about the Covid-19, but I have to say, we cut back on how long we watch it. It is getting redundant.

A special lunch for my lovely wife. Eggs and Taters.

The arrow point to where a robin is trying to build a nest.
If we were staying here for a while, I would let the bird build his nest, but we will be leaving tomorrow so I take it apart every day.

Ain't she beautiful our Natasha?

Saturday, April 11, 2020

I got this photo from my brother Rolland. He had some visitors this morning.

Suzie and Rolland. My brother and his wife.

Natasha is one happy little girl. She is very lucky to have loving parents as she has.

An afternoon walk to Willow Lake.

Walking the trail by the lake.

I never saw Patrice move so fast! And going up too!

It has been many, many years since I have seen a fence like this.
It brought back memories of me using the lawnmower as a kid of 8 or 9 and by accident touching the fence with the lawnmower, I would get a shock because the spark plug would touch the fence and the frame at the same time. I learned very fast not to do that.

Supper at Manon and Patrice again tonight. A good lasagna. We played Cribb and dice. Lots of fun.

Sunday, April 12, 2020

Our last day here at Willow Lake Campground in Woodstock, Ontario.
The robin is still hard at it building the nest. You can almost see him in his half-finish nest. That is enough, I take the ladder down. Maybe he will understand!

I filled the water tank with enough water for tonight and tomorrow.

The last time I checked the tire pressure on the MH and the car was on March 17 and the temperature was hot (+30° C).
I am checking it today with a temperature of +10° C. Yes the pressure has dropped on all the tires. Just by a few pounds.

A last look at our sites.

The last time together enjoying the afternoon sun.

I am playing around with my phone camera. Notice how sharp Flick is, but the area around him is out of focus. The camera was set on "food".

I played around with the camera some more. No special effect on this one!

My little tiger!

During the evening, our Dyson fan & heater stopped heating!

The code H2 showed up.

I assumed it was because I had not cleaned the intake for a while and it was dirty.

I cleaned everything, started up the heater and thirty seconds later, the code H2 came back. I will have to check the meaning of that code in the next few days.

Tomorrow morning we will be leaving for Trenton, Ontario.
Patrice and Manon will be leaving too. They are going home in Quebec.

Monday, April 13, 2020

Our time has come to move on. We drove out of our site without any problems.

Patrice and Manon are also leaving to go home in Quebec.
We had tonnes of fun with them over the winter in Texas. Being together sure made our self-isolation easier.
See you later! When? Who knows! Love you.

One of the positive things about COVID-19 is the low price of gasoline. It has been a very long time since I put in 200 litres of gasoline for under $200. It is a good thing the temperature is above zero. It is just raining, not snowing.

Going through Toronto is a piece of cake. It is kind of funny to see the top (head) of the building up in the clouds.

The fog is thicker in certain areas.

We arrived at our destination before lunch.
At the request of the person where we are staying and for their privacy, we will not say exactly where we currently are. We will only say we are in Trenton, Ontario. We are doing very good and are still healthy.

We will continue our confinement and only go to the stores for groceries once every week or two.
The blog will be different since our days are going to be pretty well the same every day.

Tuesday, April 14 to Wednesday, April 15, 2020

We get comfortable to watch TV and some times close our eyes too!

Some morning we wake up to this white stuff.

It can be sunny or snowy while waiting to get into the grocery store.

We cook some good food.

Until next time.

Stay safe & Stay healthy.

Life is good...
