And less than an hour later we are back on the grass.
I go for a 3 km walks almost every day, sometimes twice a day.
Some power nap!
We get lots of photos and videos from Kristin and Jeremy. Thank you
both of you for the photos.
We cannot take her in our arms, but she still takes a big place in our
hearts.
Jeremy tells us Natasha looks like Jiminy Cricket!
More good meals. Pork ribs, hummmm!
More walks to compensate for the good meals.
I made myself a reference point for the water level in Lake Ontario.
The round washer is the reference point.
The water level is a good inch below the washer.
The next day the wind is blowing hard towards us and the water level
has gone up!
Some of our neighbours.
Natasha sure changed in just 3 months.
Monday, April 20 to Sunday, April 26, 2020
In a few days, we will have been in Ontario for a month. We came to Ontario on March 23.
The last few days and the next few days have not/will not be the warmest days.
Let's start the week with a nice vehicle to pull your 5th wheel.
Another not so warm night.
I was out for another walk today. It was a cold 3 km for me.
The wind is blowing from the south and even if there is no tide on the
Great Lakes, the water level of Lake Ontario has gone up by about two
inches. Will it come back down?
Our friends Jeff and Julie, who were camping at the same park as us
in Donna, Texas, sent us this photo of us at the Rio Grande Valley
Vipers game. We had lots of fun with them, great people.
The wind is now coming from the west. The water level has dropped down
quite a bit overnight. So there is a tide, but it is caused by the wind
and not the moon. Another 3 km walk for me today.
We had some visitors after supper. A family of deer came by, they must love the fresh grass.
We had a warning of an unknown animal roaming the area.
Wednesday night to Thursday morning was pretty cold here. It was nice
and toasty inside, but we will need to get propane soon. We are almost
out of propane. Starting Thursday, the nights will be warmer, not below
freezing.
One more 3 km walk for me. Lake Ontario is still dropping.
The lake is so nice when it is not windy.
Now, if only the campground in Ontario could open...
Two funny photos of Natasha.
The first one is of her after having a spoon full of rice cereals for the first time.
Here she is with her new sun-hat. Look at her mischievous smile.
Friday morning we had to go and get propane for the MH.
It has been a long time since we paid that price for propane. Only
$0.66 per litre here in Brighton. But, after checking my data, I found
that we paid one cent less last year at the same place. I am talking
about only in Canada. As for the best price in the US. It was last year
(winter 2018/2019) in Yuma. We paid $0.45 per litre.
Another visitor in our area.
We have a rainy Sunday.
So, what do you do on a rainy Sunday?
You watch TV and read a lot.
More visitors.
Gabriel is at Jeremy and Kristin' place for the next two weeks. We skyped for over 45 minutes with them.
We cannot wait for the campground to open...

I will go back to the old way of doing the blog, meaning a little something every day.
I went out for a walk again today. Checking the water level of Lake Ontario.
We received more photos of Natasha. Thank you Kristin and Jeremy.
Look who is making a cake. And for who?
For Kristin, It is her birthday today.
Happy birthday Kristin. We are lucky to have you in our lives.
They are very lucky in Saskatchewan. They can have campfires.
Back in Trenton. I noticed a puddle under the water tank, near the
water pump a few days ago. I have to remove the black panel to get
access to the area.
No more water.
Hummm.
I look around the area and notice what looks like dried water stain
under the tank, just above the water pump. I think about that for a bit
and come to the conclusion that the water probably came from the
condensation between the cold water in the tank and the ambient air in
the compartment when the sun is shining on that side of the MH. So,
conclusion, no water leak.
I will check back in a few days just to make sure.

Another day busy doing the same things, reading, walking, watching TV, surfing the net, etc.
I did do something this morning I don't normally do. I went to give
blood for my blood work request from the doctor. I guess it is because
of the COVID-19, but no line-up to give blood. Michele went at 1 pm and
it was the same. It was very quick. We only have to wait for the doctor
to give us a call with the results.

Another walk to check out the water level of Lake Ontario.
More photos of Natasha.
Today I finished all the paperwork for Michele's application for Canada Pension. Yep, we are getting older.
On the weather side, we have strong winds (45 km/h) from the south-west and rain started up during the evening.

A boring, wet day. Time to stay indoors.
What do you do when it is raining? You have chocolate fondue.
