The temperature was supposed to drop at the freezing point last
night. I disconnected the fresh water hose to prevent
freezing. It turns out to be +2 °C last night.

We have a point card from Scotia bank and we had enough points for two free passes for a movie.
We went to the 1 pm show.
We are going to see the movie "A Star Is Born".
We really liked this movie.
Just as we got home, we had a few snow flakes falling on our head.
I disconnected the fresh water hose again for tonight, we are under a freeze warning.

A boring day with boring weather. We went out just to walk around some stores.
I also went back to my second appointment at the Chiropractor. I
think it was the "one too many" appointment. I am not sure if I
will come back at this Chiropractor again.

Yesterday, I bought a new kind of anti-slip material for our cupboards. I am going to try it now.
The old anti-slip material. It was not holding stuff in place when we were driving the MH.
I did a nice cleaning job at the same time.
The new anti-slip material is now in place. I think it will
hold stuff in place. We will see next time we drive the MH.
I did not purchase enough material to finish the cupboard. I will have to buy more.
Next, I did some more waxing on the MH. I did the lower half of the front and the doors for the basement.
This afternoon we went back to the Dollarama to purchase more of the anti-slip material.
When we got back home, I did the rest of the cupboard I started this morning.
I also did the one for the dishes.
So far I am very happy with the feel and results of this new
stuff. We now have to wait until we drive the MH and see if it
really works.

It is sunny this morning, off I go and look for some caches.
This one a rotten apple, not a real one of course.
On my way to a cache, I saw this pretty amazing mail box on the side of the road.
We had some small/light hail during the afternoon.
Another afternoon indoor for us. I even had to take a nap...

Another quiet morning.
But, we went out in the afternoon for some geocaching.
We walked 2.5 km.
We did not find the first cache. We tried on the way back and
found it no problems. Sometime you have to step away and come
back. It was very small and hard to see.
We found 4 caches today. The weather was on the cooler side, but great for geocaching.

Surprise! It is raining again this morning.
The afternoon was much better, clearer sky.
We will be walking the other half of the tail while looking for caches.

Our hunt for geocaches is not very good today.
We only found 3 out of 7 caches we looked for. We are very careful because we saw some poison oak in the area.
The trees are changing colours.
We walked under the Lundy's Lane Road and where there is a wall, you often have graffiti.
Now, it is pretty, isn't it?
We have reached 10°C today.

Why not talk about the weather! Until we leave on October 31st, we will not have any temperature above +9C, brrr!
This morning, I went to buy a box and some biodegradable "peanuts." Why?
I sold our second brake buddy to a friend. It will be shipping it today.
I shipped the brake buddy in the afternoon and at the same time, I ordered my medications for the winter.

Michele has an appointment at Helix in St-Catharines. They have to fix the feedback issues and do some fine tunning.

We treated ourselves to lunch at a Chinese buffet, the Mandarin.
It was very good for a buffet and the decoration was pretty nice too!
It was with our belly full that we went to Helix for Michele's
appointment. Michele explained her problems with the hearing aids
to the audiologist. He changed the tips and did some fine tunning
on the hearing aids. Michele was pretty happy with the results.
With this appointment over, time to hit the local thrift shoppes.
Back home, I went to visit our friends and talk about the road each of us will be taking to travel south.
A good day, I did not go looking for geocaching because there was not any close by to the areas we were in.

I had a pleasant surprise today. Usually, when I call my
insurance provider to get the exemption and get the medication for 180
days, they manage to screw it up half the time. For the last two
years, they did not screw it up!!! I got my medication with any
problems.
On my way back from the drug store, I stopped at the local cemetery and looked for a geocache.
It was in this black bird, in the tree.
Today, it is my turn to go to an appointment. It was for my 6 months post surgery on my eyes.
All is good with my eyes. Next appointment, May 2019.
This appointment as the last one before we cross the border.

A rainy and windy day. Every year, it seems to be this way during the last few days before we leave.
Danielle, Gabriel's mom, posted this photo of our grandson on facebook.
Gabriel loves playing hockey.
This map is showing the road we should be taking to travel to
Yuma. Of course, this is subject to change depending on the
weather.
This trip should be a little over 4,000 kilometers. We cannot wait to start traveling.
Tonight we treat ourselves. We are having a Chinese fondue.
Ahhhh!

We had rain all night long. This will cause an increase in the
level of humidity in the MH. We do have 4 seasons windows on the
MH, but the windshield is not! The windshield will fog up.
This is normal in weather like last night.

Brrr! It was cold last night.
We even have frost on the ground.
We had a good day, no winds and the sun was out. WOW!
We are leaving for the USA tomorrow morning.

We left the campground at around 8:20.
We cross the Peace Bridge to go to the US custom in Buffalo, NY.
This bridge has been under construction for the past three years...
Arriving at customs. We had no problems getting into the
US. The customs officer was not the most friendly person, but he
let us in anyway.
Driving across Buffalo was not a problem either.
At least it hasn't been raining so far. The weather forecast
is calling for lots of rain for the nest two days. Arggg!
Interstate 90 in New York state is a toll highway.
We stopped for gas for the MH too. Not bad, it turns out to be
about $0.84 CDN after the exchange. Not bad.
After New York, we quickly go through Pennsylvania to finally arrive in
Ohio.
We have had rain since about 10 this morning. The stuff that
makes us smile.
When you get to the end of I-271 and join I-71, it is
special. You drive at 60 mph for many hours and then you come to
this almost 90 degree curve. Even 45 mph is too fast with the MH.
And we keep going in the rain. It was raining hard a times.
Our first stop is at our regular place in Ohio, Alton RV Park in
Columbus, OH.
We had a good traveling day with a little under 600 km under our belt.
We must have been driving in rain for about 70% of the time
today. It is not fun to drive the MH in the rain for that long.
Weather forecast, more rain for tonight and tomorrow.
