It went up to +28°C today.
Gabriel is cooling off indoor.

We had a very good week with our two loved one.
We also got to know Kristin a little more, she is very nice.

Sometimes it is difficult to stay serious with a face like that!

Jeremy went back home to get ready to work tomorrow. Me, Michele and Gabriel are staying at the campground for one more night.
It is hot (30°C)

Back at the MH, Gabriel is doing some coloring.

For me, it is time for a nice nap.

Gabriel is wondering why the comics are stopping so often for commercials!
He only knows Netflix...

A moment of tenderness.

Gabriel is sleeping in the MH. He sleeps first in our bed and we will move him to the hide-a-bed in the living room when we go to bed.

This afternoon we took the car to go to Buffalo Pound and check out the campsites. We are not even out of Moose Jaw and the engine light is on with a message saying "engine power reduced". The car does not drive nice. We drive by the dealership, but they are closed. We made it back to the campground without more problems.

First thing this morning, I took the car to the GM dealership to get it fixed.
They gave me a ride back to the campground.
Once at the Campground, we slowly pack the MH to go home before lunch.

It is still hot, so we put up the pool for Gabriel.

Well, not just Gabriel, but Michele and I too!

A quick snack after dinner and it is time to go to bed.

Working on the next update of the blog.

We really enjoyed our extra long weekend.

Our car is still at the dealership. We borrowed Jeremy's car to go to Buffalo Pound to check out the sites available to us in the next few weeks.

At the main office, they have a small exhibit on how Buffalo Pound got its name.
Is Gabriel scared?

The exhibit includes a small "cage" with a snake and a fish for snack.
Gabriel is fascinated by this.

This is the first time I borrow Jeremy's car and I managed to hit a small post! I am not impressed.

It turns out the campground is full for the whole summer.

Back home, Jeremy borrowed a pressure washer from a friend.
I am using it to clean all our carpets. It does a very good job. I even clean the Jeremy's living room carpet.
It is another hot day with 32°C.

Poor Gabriel, he can't take it anymore and ask for a nap!

Jeremy is going to a golf game/mug-out for a member of the squadron.
He looks "perty".

The dealership called to let me know the car is ready to go. They have changed the gas pedal because the sensor in it was not good.

I drive the car only two kilometers and the lights come back on and it does the same thing!
Back to the dealership... I am back home without the car once again!

Another hot day and it will be over 32°C for the rest of the week.

Thursday July 6, 2017

Gabriel and I are in a working mood this morning. At least get some stuff done before the heat is too much.
We start by washing the front deck of the house. The other half of the house is empty, so we wash the whole deck.

Gabriel is a good helper.

He is going to be busy today, he caught a caterpillar.

I continue using the pressure washer to clean the chairs this time.

I also improve on the design of the cloth line drier.

Michele is showing Gabriel how to drum.

By mid-morning, I call back the dealership to get news about our car. They tried everything and the car is working good!
I tell them to keep the car another day and keep trying.

Another hot afternoon, time for the pool.

Gabriel is good to play "Frustration/Trouble" with kids rule.
He still wins two out of three games. The little bugger.

Friday July 7, 2017

It is hot and humid this morning.
I still want to do the cleanup of the MH basement.
Out goes everything.

I sort things out, rearrange containers trying to make it all fit in less space...

Michele is folding plastic bags for Jeremy. This way it takes a lot less room.

By lunchtime, I am almost done.

Gabriel even has another nap!

The sun is still hot when Gabriel wakes up, so, pool time!

Just before dinner, the dealership calls and the car is ready. They could not find anything wrong with it.
I take it back home and it does run nice. Is it fixed? We will see.

Tonight it is "sleep-over" time for Gabriel.
He is having a sleep-over with Grandmaman in the MH.
Got to have snacks, popcorn, candies....

It is another hot day at 31°C.

Jeremy made a very nice breakfast this morning.

A morning with Dad.

There is hardly any wind this morning. Jeremy and Gabriel want to fire some rockets.
Here we are on our way to a farmer's field to launch some rockets.
Hummmm!

Once the rocket runs out of fuel, it launches a parachute and comes down slowly. It landed about 100 feet from where we were.

Between two launch, Gabriel gives us some nice flowers.

Jeremy has invited his neighbor for dinner. He is transferred to Trenton and his wife and kids are already there. He is traveling Friday. He is a nice guy.

They forecast 36°C for today!
This is going to be a hot day.
On the bright side, they are installing the central air on the house today.
It is 10 am and it is hot outside.

Kristin got back from her run.

We have fun, but in the shade...

They are still working on it.

Why not play in the water.

Jeremy installed the slip-n-slide for Gabriel.
Just so you know, the water in the pool is warm, but the water on the slide is cold.

Gabriel comes to the pool to warm-up, but I chase him away.

Gabriel is hiding in the tunnel, but the water is so cold.

Water fight!

Bad luck is with us. We will not have AC today. The electrical panel has to be changed to accept the AC. Knowing the way the military works, it will probably take until Christmas until the funds are allocated for the new electrical panel.
The inside of the house is super warm. We start the generator on the MH and run both AC in the MH. Once the MH has cooled enough, we reconnect with electricity and run only one AC. Gabriel will sleep in the MH tonight.

It was a very hot day and for tomorrow, the temperature should be at +21°C!!!

Yes it is only 21°C today.
21 seems cool after a week of 30°C.
We spend most of the day indoor.

Michele and Gabriel are playing Snake and Ladders.

We bought this Lego a few months back.
Time for Gabriel to build it. Gabriel is only 5 years old and the Lego is for 5 to 12 years old. We will see how he does for the construction.

We have to follow the instruction to the "T" because it is a complicated Lego.

Gabriel is very good at following the instruction on the paper.

Almost done.

The SUV is completed.

A snack is required before we can continue.

We are starting on the trailer. Gabriel is losing concentration a little.

He did very well.

We are looking at Jeremy cooking on the BBQ.

Jeremy wants to try something to keep Gabriel from waking up too early. If the hour needle is in the red, Gabriel can go pee, but goes back to sleep. If on the yellow, he can go pee, but has to stay in his room/bed and he can play and read. If in the green, he can come and wake up Jeremy.

Gabriel followed the clock this morning. He did very good.
We are watching a cool video on you-Tube.

Something else to build. This time it is a small book case for Gabriel's book.

Tada! Our job is done, now Michele has filled the bookcase with Gabriel's book.

It was only 23°C today, but we will be back in the 30's tomorrow and for the next week.

Thursday July 13, 2017

Gabriel is trying on all the clothing he has. He is a very patient boy.

We spend part of the morning outside.

Gabriel and I are preparing the pool for this afternoon.

Gabriel does not pump for very long.

All we need now is to eat our lunch and fill the pool.

Grand-maman and Gabriel are preparing the boiled eggs to make egg sandwich.

With our belly full, we fill the pool with warm water.

Once pool time is over, we take everything apart because it will not be used until Monday afternoon probably.

It is hot!
We spend the day indoor.
Michele has prepared the bags for Gabriel. He is going to Regina at Kristin's place with his Dad.
Bye bye Gabriel and Jeremy, see you Sunday.

The cat is gone, the mice are dancing!
We are having a KFC supper.

After supper, we took photos of all the toys that are going for sale in the garage. They will be going on Kijiji and "Discover Moose Jaw".
Michele is slowly starting the clean-up in the basement.

We are looking for all the toys Gabriel is no longer using to put them up for sale.
We ended our evening with a good movie and chips.

We went out to check out a filing cabinet for Jeremy this morning. It is nice and we buy it. We will pick it up later this week.
Back home, we continue with the sorting of Jeremy's basement.

I got to have a nice nap in the afternoon.

Michele continues making cleaning-up Gabriel's toys in the living room. We also rearrange the living room.
We think it will be a better layout for Gabriel.

Michele has done a tremendous job. I was only tagging along.

Another evening watching TV and eating chips.
