Happy birthday to me!  Happy birthday to me!

Michele stayed in bed late this morning and I went to the restaurant for breakfast.

It started to rain around four this morning and it did not stop until three in the afternoon.

It was on the cool side today, only +8°C and more of the same for the next few days.

Monday April 2, 2016

Last year, we started to find all the caches located in Prince Edward County (PEC).
PEC is a peninsula.
Last year, we found quite a few caches in the county.  This year we will continue finding caches in the county.
Will we find all the remaining caches?  We will see...

Our search takes us to the small town of Wellington, it is on Lake Ontario.

One of the cache takes us to the lighthouse of Wellington.

One more cache is located in a cemetery.
What a nice little message.  "My Mom is an angel".

We are in an Art Park with sculpture and  other art pieces from locale artist.  Very nice.

Wolves!

A deer!

Off they go hunting the deer.

While looking for the cache, I lifted a big rock and found?

A small garden snake sleeping under the rock.

We are still looking for the cache.
One of the hint is about something not like the other!
Maybe a rock not like the other?  Yes, here it is.

This art park is free!

We found 17 caches and only one DNF.

Tuesday May 3, 2016

We got a call from the doctor's office letting us know that our blood work paperwork is ready to pick up.
On our way back from Belleville, we look for more caches in PEC.
One of the cache is locate near a small pond.

There is a swan family on this pond.  We did not get close of the nest, but let me tell you, they sure kept an eye on us!

We found another 14 caches today.

While I was looking for something in the basement compartment, I noticed some water in there!
After some research, I found the source of the water to be from the faucet in the kitchen.

The water leak comes from the inside of the faucet.  The water falls on the drain pipe and then on the floor to then migrates outside.
Short-term solution!  An aluminum foil gutter to move the water into a container.

I am going to call the dealer so they can get it fixed under warranty.  I am not expecting much from them considering what happen last year.  Here is a link to last years "repairs".

Wednesday May 4, 2016

It is seven in the morning and we are ready to let go of some of our blood...

75 minutes later we are out with a little less blood in us!
Time for breakfast.
On our way out, we noticed they repainted the sign on one of the building in Trenton.

Next, we have an appointment with our financial adviser in Belleville.

At the office.

All is good on the financial side of the house.

Next appointment, Helix for my hearing test.
Coming out of Helix, now I know my hearing is still good, but my tinnitus is getting a little louder.
No need for hearing aids, yes!

We are getting our appointment done one at the time.

Thursday May 5, 2016

I am out looking for caches this morning.
I found 10 of them while Michele was enjoying a morning in bed.
Ah!  The retired life!!!

We did a little trip to the grocery store and fill up the car in the afternoon.

Tomorrow, we have an appointment for the oil undercoating at Krown Trenton for the MH.

Friday May6, 2016

It is 9 o'clock and I am leaving the campground.  Michele will be shopping during that time.

The appointment is only at 10 this morning, but I have to fill up the propane tank first.

Yesterday, I called Cité Caravane, where we bought the MH, about the leak in the MH.
I left two messages!
Why am I not surprised, they did not call back!

During the night, the leak got worst.

After I got back from the undercoating place, I call back Cité Caravane.
Surprise!  Katleen finally took my call, she tries to apologies, but I cut her off and said " I now have a BIG leak"!

Another surprise, she reacted quickly so the leak would be repaired as soon as possible.
Maybe they have to get on our good side after what happened last year.

In less than two hours, a technician is at our place changing the faucet.

I gave him a hand when needed.  This is the bad faucet.

We have to keep the bad faucet and give it back to Cité Caravane for the warranty.

The repair technician did not have the same faucet.  He installed a "temporary" one and they will change it for the right one when we are at the dealership in June.

We are happy even if it is a temporary fix.  No more leaks.

Saturday May7, 2016

I am having a lazy morning.  While I was reading some of the newsletters I get on e-mail, I noticed the fog rolling in.

In 15 minutes it is here!

Another 15 minutes and we are in the fog!

I decided to wash only the roof after lunch.
Once I got going, Michele and I washed the whole MH.
After getting an undercoating, the MH is oily and really needs a wash.
On top of that, add another 2500 km of driving and you get a really dirty MH.
We wash and dry.

Sparkling!

Now that we have washed the MH, it rains!

Sunday May 8, 2016

WOW!  It was windy last night and the way the wind was hitting the MH, the bedroom awning was making a racket.  In the middle of the night, we had to close the bedroom slide so we could sleep.

The sun is shinning this morning.

Happy Mother's day to all the mother in the world.

I am cooking breakfast for Michele!

Michele playing around with the camera and taking pictures of her feet with mismatched socks!

After lunch, we went out looking for more caches in the PEC.

A little sinister for a cache to be located.

The bush has very big thorns.

The Picton marina.

After this cache, we were walking to another cache when Michele suddenly felt a sharp pain under her foot.  It was a thorn stuck under the sole of one shoe.

Another cache took us to the Birdhouse City park.

There are a lot of birdhouses here!

What a week.

Monday April 9, 2016

The park owner is repairing his docks and he is giving me all the bad wood to burn.
I am using some of those planks to built 4 wooded blocks to use under the leveling legs of the MH.

Here I am building the blocks.

At the same time, the park owner is widening some of the pull through  RV sites.

Me?  I am taking care of the fire!

I finally give them a hand.

I am happy to have given them a hand and they were happy I gave them a hand.  A win/win situation!

Tuesday May 10, 2016

I have already talked about the two tires not being the same size on the car.
This afternoon, we are at Walmart in Trenton to get the tire change for the right size.
Kudos for Walmart!  They made sure I have the wrong size and once confirmed, they changed the tire without any problems.

I can see that the owner is still busy at work, good for him!

After supper, we skyped with Jeremy and Gabriel.

A good day!

Wednesday May 11, 2016

We are back in Belleville for Michele's dentist appointment.
We are out of the dentist by 9 am.  First stop is at the Giant Tiger store, second stop is at Denny's for a very good breakfast.

Back home, I start a few small projects.  First, I paint the wooden block I built on Monday.

I am on a roll, next, it is replacing the push on/push off switch on the bathroom fan I installed this winter.  I just do not trust the plastic switch.  A new switch is now replacing the old one.

Darn!  I am on a roll!
Time to install two new spout on the front gutter.  It is to move the water away from the MH and the mirrors.  It may not pretty, but it works.

I even got a haircut and did some reading and even a bike ride in the park.

The park owner received his new tractor.  Of course, he has to go for a ride.

The photo is not as pretty as the actual sunset.

Michele cooked us a nice meal.  We ate stuffed bell peppers.

Another good day!

Thursday May 12, 2016

A beautiful day at +22°C.
I gave the second coat to the wooden blocks.  I also wash our chairs, they really need it.
Michele goes to the grocery store to get what is needed for our fondue tomorrow.
We even have a nice campfire.

The clouds move in by late afternoon.  The forecasters are calling for rain tonight and the same for tomorrow!

Friday May 13, 2016

We woke up to rain and cool temperatures!  What are we going to do today?

Let's go caching in PEC!

One of the cache is in this wall!

We did not know there was a canoes & kayaks manufacturer located in PEC.

What a neat idea, the mailbox is an old kayak.  Even the gates have kayaks on them.

The cache located here gave us a hard time, but Michele found it!

We are having a Chinese fondue!

WOW!
We ate too much!
I go for a walk and stop to chat with Barry.

We did good with the caching today.  We found 10 caches.  We are moving along in finding all the caches in PEC.

Saturday May 14, 2016

We woke up to rain and it rained all day.

Michele made a nice cake and some cupcakes.
Oups!  This thing does not go in an oven!!!

We spend the day indoor.

The owner using his new tractor to move his daughter's car.  This car is for parts.

It is an evening of reading for both of us.

Sunday May 15, 2016

One more boring day!  A cool +6°C with scattered showers all day.
We spend the day reading, watching movies...

Until next time.

Life is good...
