Note:
We are at
the beginning of
our first full year of
full-timing. WOW!
The last six months (and a few days) went by so quickly and easily.
The last six months felt more like holidays than actually living
full-time. But we are getting there.
In 2010 we had no major problems with our equipment, on the financial
side, everything is still good.
So, here we go in 2011...
Saturday, January 1st, 2011
We had the pleasure of having André and Giselle for dinner on New Years
Day.
Another evening of fun with good company.
Sunday, January 2, 2011
An easy day and it is Benoit's birthday.
Happy birthday Benoit!
23 years old and a full life in front of you...
We had to have a Tequila shot for Benoit's birthday!
We went out for dinner with André and Giselle to celebrate a friend's
birthday.
Goodbye
André and Giselle, we will miss you.
Thanks for everything!

Moving day! Largo, here we come. Largo is located real
close to Tampa. This is close to where our friends Dave and
Shelly have a condo.
Before we left Lake Worth, many of our new friends from the campground
came to say: "Bon Voyage". Thank you all and it was a pleasure
to meet all of you. We are sure our path will cross someday. I do not have any name here because not everybody wants
their names on the web.
We know who you are and this is what counts.
Bye and thanks for your friendship.
On our way to Largo, we saw many lemon's fields.
Now, that's a lot of lemons.
It always brings a smile when you see a "living" advertisement on the
side of the road.
Here is our new home for a month, Lee's Travel Park.
Nice campground.
Tuesday to Friday, January 4th to the 7, 2011
We spent a lot of time with our friends Dave, Shelley and of course,
their two kids (Adults kids).
They are going back to Cold Lake Saturday morning.
Before they left, Shelley wanted some Sand Dollars for her shell
collection.
So off we go to Fort De Soto beaches hunting down sand
dollars.
We had a good time!
WOW!
A shell with something living inside...
(only the girls were interested!)
Here we go, solving the problems of the world...
What a beautiful morning on the beach.
Shelley with her treasures...
We went to Dave and Shelley's place for dinner almost every night.
They had to use the food they had before they left.
OK with us!
Dave, Shelley and the kids, it was a pleasure to see you
before you had to go back home.
Thanks!

Twice a week, the campground offers free breakfast to all campers.
This gives us a chance to mingle with other people from the campground.
After breakfast, a game of shuffleboard.
We learn that every campground has its own rules.
OK with us.
We met very nice people here.
WOW!
We have never seen a full wall slide out like this one before.
This is BIG!
Saturday to Monday, January 8 to the 10, 2011
Not much for the next few days, just taking it easy after the Holiday
Season.
We spent some time at a super big Flea Market.
I went bike riding for about 17 km.
Sunday evening, in the clubhouse, you can participate in the "Social
Ice Cream" get together.
We were entertained by a senior's group playing Harmonicas.
Pretty good those young fellas...
Here is the oldest at 91.
Monday was a shopping day, nothing special.
Monday evening, they have poker at the clubhouse and Michele played,
but was not lucky, she finished 3rd.
No money for her.

A cold day for Florida, +11 C.
We decided to go for a bicycle ride on the Pinellas Trail.
This trail was built on an old railway. Very nice place to ride bicycles.
You always get to see something different when you go for a walk or a
bicycle ride.
We saw some grapefruit, oranges and even baby oranges...
The Pinellas Trail goes right in the city of Clearwater.
One of the few murals we saw.
A carpenter turtle?
As the Pinellas Trail goes in the city. It also runs next to an
active railroad track, which runs in the middle of the street.
Pretty special thing to see.
Tomorrow, we are going to the Biggest RV Show in Florida.
Wednesday, January 12, 2011
This is a very BIG RV show. Only 1100 RV of every kind to see and over
350 boots for venders. We were busy, but we did not go into many
RVs. Mostly the one with a price tag of over $500,00.00. A
very nice day even with only a +11 C.
Michele was very happy when she won two flashy rings...
Not to complain, but the weather here is the same as in Comox, BC.
Where Jeremy lives.
Florida is the only state that did not have snow...
Thursday, Friday, January 13 and
14, 2011
Still a cool day at +11C. We stayed home and did nothing but
reading, watching TV and some small shopping.
Thursday evening the campground had a complimentary Fish Fry, cooked by
Newfoundlander's from the campground.
What a feast...
Friday it got a little warmer so we went to Home Depot for some small
stuff.
Why do you think we took this photo?
A pretty red car between two Porsche!
Saturday and Sunday, January 15
and 16 2011
We spent the day reading, biking and having some nice meals.
Our bike ride took us to a mobile home park close to our campground.
