My brother's daughter, Dominique is moving today. We are giving a helping hand moving stuff from Mom and Dad's place.
And now from her apartment.
The view she is giving up! This is the Laurentians.
The moving crew, minus Michele, who is taking the photo.
The new home, actually the basement apartment!
The move is done without any problems, I would even say, fast!
Back to the campground, it is bingo night!
Back to the motorhome, a little poorer!

Being Canada Day weekend, lots of stuff going on at the beach.
Even a sand building competition.
We are waiting for Rolland and Suzie for the afternoon and evening.
We got a call later on from my brother. They will not be coming
because the fire trucks were at their place.
Luckily, the house did not burn down, but they have lots of smoke damage.
Inside view.
The cause of the fire, an automatic battery charger that did not stop charging
when it should have done so.
We had a few boxes at his place. Nothing too bad!
Rolland and Suzie are taking all this pretty good.
Me with my brother Rolland!

A very easy day with a +30 and lots of humidity.

A very nice supper at my sister's place.
Her husband, Robert.
A very nice evening with Robert and Estelle, always a pleasure to be
with them!
Thursday, July 7, 2011
My two sisters, Estelle and Christianne, are with us for lunch and for
the afternoon.
After looking at some photos, we went for a walk in the campground.
The small lake in the campground has some duck families... They came for the bread we had for them. Cute.
Another very nice day with my sisters.

Rolland and Suzie came by for a
visit
before we left for Berthierville. Humm, forgot to take some
photos! We are on the way to Berthierville.
Ah! The scenery in the summer, lots of orange signs.
And because on the new configuration on the exit for the 640
Est, I missed it! Oh well!
We made it to Patrice and Manon's place.
This is becoming a
tradition, having the first few beers in the garage after we are set up!
They have purchased a pool table and we spent the evening playing with
the kids.
No comments on the photos!
What an evening. We had a great time with the gang, Patrice,
Manon, Rock, Catherine and Valérie.

A few days ago, we noticed a small water leak by the toilet.
Clean water leak.
Today, I am taking the old toilet out to check where the leak is coming
from. Two possibilities for leaks.
I phoned an RV dealer to verify if the parts are available. They
informed me that the parts will cost over $200.
Off we go to the dealer to check things out. After much taught,
I decided to buy a new toilet for less money than the parts to fix the old
one.
Here is the new toilet followed by the installation.
Not very hard to install, but the lack of space makes it tricky.
I managed to overcome all the problems in no time at all.
After working so hard, POOL time...
Manon keeping a close eye on us!
Catherine has set up the badminton net for us to play a few games...
Lots of fun but the bugs came out and the fun went out of it!

Another hot day. More pool time...
A great meal by the pool.
Monday, July 11, 2011
Patrice purchased a new bike and had to try it out.
While the girls (Michele, Manon and Valerie) are gone shopping in
Joliette, Jean-Guy, Patrice and Michele's father, dropped by for a
visit.
Another hot and humid day. A great day.
Thursday, July 12, 2011
It is not a heatwave, but still hot and humid.
Catherine invited us for a bike ride so Patrice could use his new bike
again!
Does it look like pool time again?

We have to make a quick trip to Belleville for a follow-up
appointment. Nothing bad, just routine.
Good weather, good road, Montreal was easy to cross even with all the
road construction.

What a day!
We start with a shopping trip to the Trois-Rivieres Costco and other
stores. Me, Michele and Manon leave Berthierville before lunch so we
can do some serious shopping.
Well! First, we got slowed down by a family of ducks crossing the road...
No problems getting to Trois-Rivieres. But Manon remembered that
Valerie has a driving class at 1 pm. She calls Patrice to make
sure he can take her to class. Shortly after Patrice phones back
to ask who has the driving permit for Valerie! Manon has it...
Back to Berthierville (fast) so she can make it for her class. We made
it just in time. We had a good laugh.
After we left the driver's licenses, we headed to the drug store and we
notice some pretty black smoke... Off we go to check it out.
A car is burning!
Today turns out to be a "not shopping day" after all.
Back at the house, we found Patrice working!
And Manon got into supervising quickly.
We got hot just watching Patrice working. Off to the pool we go!
Pretty easy evening. Manon and Michele went to watch Catherine
play soccer.
