Monday September 1st, 2014

Not as long a day as the last few days. We are only at 450 km from Jeremy's place.

We had a few minutes of rain at the beginning of the day, but then the sun showed up on the prairies...

I only took this photo because I had a Chrysler Windsor almost like this one when I was 14 or 15. Mine was a 4 doors and I only drove it in the back fields...

After close to 2900 km we finally arrive at Jeremy, Danielle and Gabriel's place in the PMQ.

Danielle is not here because Jeremy and Danielle are splitting up.
Danielle comes every day for a few hours and Gabriel will be staying at Jeremy's until we leave in a few weeks.
This is a very nice gesture from Danielle's part and we sure do appreciate it.

We had to go for a short walk before dîner. Since it had rained a lot in the last few days, the puddles are pretty full.

Of course Gabriel fell in the puddles, he is a little cold and wet.

This morning there is a family fun day on base. Gabriel had a lot of fun in the Jolly Jumps (Bouncy Castles).

After lunch and a good nap, we went to a playground in town.

Danielle has been playing Roller Derby for the past few months and her team is the "Jaw Breakers".
Tonight we are at the game to watch her play. Her number is 300 and her player's name is "Danarchy".

We really enjoyed the game.
It was a good thing that Danielle had showed us a video and explained the game last evening. It made it a lot easier to follow the game.

The weather is very cool for this time of the year, we had a +1 C last night.

This morning, we are going to Regina, more precisely at Costco, with Danielle for some shopping.

This morning the contractors are in to change both doors of the PMQ. It will be cold in the house as it is only +2 C outside.

Gabriel has fun in a half open tunnel.

We only have two eggs for breakfast and I decide to give them to Gabriel. Usually, he eats only one.

Well! I only ate two forks of the eggs !?!?!?!?

Gabriel's nap was some good because he slept through all the noise the contractors made.

Gabriel is very good at eating corn on the cob.

I forgot! Danielle has an interview in Regina at the Delta Inn tomorrow for a job. We wish you good luck Danielle.

Another easy day at home for us.

We are going out for a walk before diner.

Danielle had her job interview today and by late in the day she texted us that she had the job. That is all we know for now!

A lot of wind and rain for today.
Jeremy is working overtime today. A good thing we are here because Danielle has a roller derby game out of town.

So, we have fun with Gabriel.
