When we sell the MH, we will change our car for an SUV.
Today I saw a car for sale...

Friday, May 17, 2024.

Natasha has fun.

I created a course with pine cones and chalks on the road in front of the house.
Natasha will try to do it.

She is trying hard. She gets better every time she does it.

Grand-maman is spending the night at Jeremy and Kristin's house. Tomorrow morning, Jeremy and Kristin are working at 6 am for the air show.

Me? I am back at the trailer for the night. I spent the evening reading by the fire.

Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Grand-maman and Natasha are good friends.

Audrey and John came to join us for the air show.

As I mentioned, Kristin is working traffic control on base and in town.

Jeremy is also working at traffic control, but at a different place.
It is not Jeremy on the photo, but the other military member working with him for the day.

Natasha is not very interested in airplanes.
A "Kid Zone" was located in one of the hangars.

They had free face painting. Natasha was a princess.

They had an inflatable obstacle course.

Also, many other inflatable structures for the kids.

Natasha saw a different obstacle course. This one was real...
She must have done it 15 times. When she came back with grand-maman later on, she did it another 10ish time.

You have to have a big fire truck on display.

Sadly, Natasha could not go on the big monster bike. When we got to the waiting line, they told us it was over, they had dead batteries.

We left the air show early.
Once back home, we played around with our phone camera.

And me!

Audrey and John are going back to Regina tomorrow morning.
We had to take some group photos.

It was a busy and long day, but it was even longer for Jeremy and Kristin.
They started at 6 am this morning and did not finish before 6 pm.

Michele was having fun with the Canon camera.

We have a bald eagle's nest near our park. We can hear the babies, but not see them yet.

Monday, April 20, 2024

Natasha was invited to a birthday party today. She had fun.

Meanwhile, Jeremy went mountain biking in a mine.

They only have their front headlight on the bikes, and helmet mounted lights to see in the dark.

Jeremy taught it was a little weird biking in an old mine.

Nothing beats a good afternoon nap.

Jeremy came by for a visit after his bike ride.

Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Natasha's daycare is closed today. Kristin is at sick parade on base. She is sick and her cough is still going strong.
Jeremy is also working evening and started at 3 pm.
So, we have Natasha with us for almost the whole day.

She is so easy to look after.

Jeremy bought a spare fishing rod for salmon fishing. It is almost an antic.

Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

We had very strong winds after days back. The green line you see from the water's edge is seaweeds carried by the waves. It does not smell very good as it decomposes.

Natasha had her first real bike crash.

Jeremy too has a "doll" for Natasha when he is deployed.

As the sun goes down, a campfire...

A chair, a good book and a scotch.

Life is good.

I go look at the ocean pretty much every day.

Friday, May 24, 2024.

Usually, Natasha's sleepover is on Saturday night, but because Kristin and Natasha have a dinner on Saturday evening. The sleepover is tonight.

She is spoiled.

She loves the little bath in the trailer.

After the bath, time for the movie with grand-maman, in our bed with junk (and good) food.

Story time before bedtime.

She is so easy to put to bed.

Saturday, May 25, 2024.

Natasha and I are out for a short hike in the nearby conservation area.

By the time we got back, she was so cold. Grand-maman prepared a nice hot chocolate with some crackers.

We are just waiting for lunch.

And doing some crazy faces!

At lunchtime, she is very tired. I guess we burn her out!

Really tired.

In less than a minute after her head hit the pillow, she is gone.

It is almost two o'clock when we take her home.

Sunday, May 26, 2024.

In the back of our campground, we saw a trail going up a hill.
It is time to investigate.

As you can see, we are pretty close to the ocean.

It is windy today.

Monday, May 27, 2024

It was just an ordinary day.

Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

Jeremy and I had breakfast at the Early Bird Cafe, and it was good.

After breakfast I gave Jeremy a hand to do the wiring for the down riggers on his boat.

We installed the two plugs for the down riggers. One at the front and one at the back.
You can see where the cables were routed.

Jeremy does the soldering before we hook up every wire to the battery.

Everything is nice and tidy and it all works!

I replaced the old plastic on the ends of the fishing rod holders.

We did quite a bit of work on the boat today. It is almost ready to hit the water.
Once Natasha was in bed, Jeremy built a few "kits" for salmon fishing.

Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

Michele has her first appointment for her neck pain.
She is at the Coastal Physio in Comox.
They are really nice. She comes out a little more in pain, but that is to be expected. She also has some exercises to do a few times a day.
Her next appointment is in two weeks.

Jeremy is working evenings this week. We have Natasha with us for the night.
We had a nice bike ride just before the rain hit. She went up a steep hill too.

It is not raining that hard! Grand-maman bought this diving mask for the next time we go to the beach.

Bon appétit.

She ate good. She even has room for ice cream.

It seems like she eats all the time.

Ready to sleep with the "Mommy and Daddy dolls".

It is always fun to have her with us.

Thursday, May 30, 2024.

Everybody is at their battle stations this morning. She has to be ready to go to daycare before 8 am this morning.

She wanted us to take a photo of our neighbor. This is from her bedroom window.

She is ready!

Jeremy is working evening again. We picked up Natasha at daycare. This time, we did not take her to the trailer. We took her to her house. Jeremy is not working tomorrow morning. He will get up early to be with her.
She loves doing puzzles.

Kristin video called at supper time. Natasha loved it.

You have to have a snack after bath time.

Shortly after, we put Natasha to bed, Jeremy arrived from work. He went to see her and she was so happy to see him before going to sleep.
When Jeremy arrived, we headed back to the trailer.

Friday, May 31, 2024.

Today is the day we try Jeremy's boat.

We are on our way.

Surprise! We can only go slow.
The propeller is slipping if we put more torque on it

We had to go back home. Jeremy has to order a new prop.

We traveled about 100 meters on the water.
We will try again soon as we get the new prop.

I received some good news about my laptop. They received it, it was diagnosed and will be fixed within a few days. The warranty covers everything. I should arrive by Wednesday.
