Going to Montréal to visit Benoit one last time before we move to
Ontario.
We took the metro in Longueuil because in the morning, we visited
Marthe, an old friend of Michèle.
We found Montréal to be very noisy.
Benoit still in the de-packing of boxes. The ceiling is made this was,
not finish. This is the "way" a loft looks like.
Michèle find this very... unfinished...
Before we left, we visited Cindy with Benoit.
Being on the south shore, we had to take the ferry in Sorel to go to
St-Ignace, on the north shore.

Today we clean behind Patrice's garage. Here is Chubby not wanting his
picture taken.
Another well done job!
Next stop, the dump.
Patrice told us that a corn plant has only one cub on it. We had to
stop by a cornfield and check it out.
Well, some had 1, some had two or three!
Back home, we checked Wikipedia and found that corn plant may have more
then one corn cub but only one will grow to maturity
From time to time we have visitors in our motorhome, mice!
I emptied the basement of the motorhome and come evening, Manon
volunteer to be in the basement to see if she can "see" some holes
where the mice come in!
Well, we could not find any holes!!!
A mystery that will have to be solve at some later time...

Valérie is going to a weekend camp where they have some role playing
games. She is an Elf.
Here she is preparing her meals and getting her ears ready.
Rock gave us an evening of music. WOW! He played guitar from 8 until
midnight. What a pleasure it was to listen to him play and sing.
His choice of music is quite varied, from classic Quebecois to classic
rock of the 80s.
Thank you Rock for a superb evening!

This picture shows how close we are to the wall when we emptied our
tanks of used water, not an easy task to get out of there!
Belleville, here we come.
We drove on the old "King's Road" until close to Montréal and then took
highway 40 to cross Montréal and make it to Ontario.
As soon as we got to Ontario, we moved to the highway 2. This is like
the "King's Road" in Quebec.
It follows the St-Lawrence. Very nice road, very nice scenery.
One of the many bridges to the States.
In the Thousand Island area, you can see small cottages built on very
small island. So cute!
We drove to Brighton because it has the closest campground to
Belleville. It is a KOA but we will spend only 2 nights there
because it is very expensive.
Monday,
Tuesday September 20 and 21, 2010
A nice view form the motorhome. But the 401 is right at the bottom and
very noisy.
Very long sites more then 70 feet but at $48 per night is is very
expensive for what you have...
Yesterday we found a campground closer and cheaper to Odette's place.
On the move.
Tuesday we had a very nice supper in a restaurant with Odette and Onyx.
They came for a visit at our place.
Wednesday September 22, 2010
This morning I went to visit our home in the PMQ.
Things have changed a lot, where the gas station was, it is now a Tim
Horton.
No more houses on the street we lived on...
Our driveway, it kind of hurt a little to see where you spent 7 years
of your life gone!
Tonight we watch our TV shows...
Thursday September 23, 2010
Here are some pictures of our new campground. Mostly seasonal
campers but they had one site open for us.
Right on the Moira river, about 7 km from Belleville.
Laundry day, me hard at work... not!
This picture is to show you how cheap beer is in Quebec. At
Costco, 55 cans for .....$55.00
Tonight we will visit Odette and Onyx for the last time and tomorrow we
move to Alliston, close to Borden to visit Jérémy.

Getting ready to leave Belleville. Here I am putting the Internet
antenna away.
Nice road... or trail? to get out of the campground.
For some reason we are quite taken by trees. Here we go!
There are lots of old cars on the roads.
Fun to see!
A white tree in the fall?
We chose to take the back road to got to Alliston, near Borden.
Very nice road and scenery but it almost double the time to get there.
Here we are in Alliston at the Provincial Park Earl Rowe.
While I am setting up the motorhome, Michèle goes and pick up Jérémy in
Borden.
We spent a very nice evening with Jérémy.
Saturday September 25, 2010
I got Jérémy to look at some information on the engine. He has
better eyesight then me!
Another good day with Jérémy. We always love having Jérémy with
us...
We went shopping at a flee market and antique place.
We saw some very nice things.
Sunday September 26, 2010
Breakfast with some "Matte'Muffin"...
Notice the skill with the bacon!
We did some hiking on the park trails.
Jérémy being "normal"...
Very nice park and some very nice scenery.
Jérémy has to go back to the barracks to study for an exam. We
are getting ready to leave for tomorrow.
Tomorrow we are on our way to the Niagara regions.
Very nice campground. The price was right at $168 for a
week. Of course we are in the off season. Full service
with 50 amp power, WOW.
But in July and August, the price goes up to over $500 a week.
This price includes all the activities in the Resort, from the water
slides to the band on the week end, you name it they have it!

After washing the car, we went and tour the resort on our bikes.
It is big and very beautiful. Lots of sites have view of Lake Erie.
Of course, we got caught by the rain.
Most if not all the "resident" have Golf Carts, some are pretty cool!
After the rain the wind piked up and some of the gust were so strong
that we decided to bring in the slide to protect the slide awning.
I still got time to wash the motorhome before the rain.
A good easy day, tomorrow?
Wednesday September 29, 2010
Had to go there, the Falls!
Very nice, very few peoples.
We did get a small hot dog for $5.75 and not that good...
One of the tourist street. Nice to visit and we will come back in
the evening just to look at the lights.
Thursday September 30, 2010
The Welland canals.
We took the Welland Canal Parkway. A nice drive.
H2O Highway ?
One of the 8 locks.
The Welland was design to go around the Niagara Falls and over the
Niagara Escarpment.
Many canals were
built, from the
first one, 1828 - 1833, to the last one , 1913 -1332.
From 40 locks to only 8, WOW.
In only 11 kilometers, it goes up by almost 100 meters in
only 8 locks.
Michèle, the gorgeous!
One of the three lift bridges.
One of the draw bridge.
As mentioned before, this resort has lots of golf carts, here is a cool
one !
A day that started with some rain and finished with some sun.
